"This was a magical stay. I could not recommend this place more. The lady of the chateau Christine was amazing. Recommended what should be a Michelin star restaurant for dinner called the The Drunken Camel. Amazing meal. The chateau makes you feel like a scene out of Downton Abbey. "I enjoyed my stay, but in a previous comment I mentioned this was felt more of a B&B than a hotel stay. I had a great room, stayed close to the Old City, one of the best breakfasts at any hotel (or B&B) ever. There was another couple there that helped me. The hostess does not speak much English and my French is maybe grade school. The other couple helped with the language and made the stay very good and memerable. And the Honeysuckle at the front door smelled amazing."

"Beautifully designed home with plenary of room for 9. Gorgeous kitchen and pool area. Bocce ball court and ping pong. Didn’t want to leave the house! Loved the AC in all rooms and the touches of home. Would recommend highly to large group or family. Close to downtown, bakery, Carrefore. Only downfall is noise from the street for the front house."

"This hotel is very centrally located to visiting Pezenas and you can easily walk anywhere you would like to go. Parking can be a challenge as free parking is very difficult to find close to the hotel unless you are very lucky. I do not like the bed I had on my last stay, very very firm and I like firm. "

"Hotel was disappointing. We booked the largest suite with the rooftop terrace that we were not allowed to use. They told us it had safety issues. So we paid for the terrace but got no terrace and no reduction in price. The shower did not drain so flooded every time we took a shower, even when it was just 5 minutes. The hot tub in the room also leaked which explains the sewage smell. The staff knew. We saw them open all the windows and terrace doors when they were cleaning. The smell was wretched. We had to sleep with the windows and terrace door open which lead to lots of mosquitos and horrible bites. We left two nights early knowing we wouldn’t get a refund but they still charged us all the taxes. Don’t do the hotel breakfast. Not worth the €25 per person. Going in September meant the bar upstairs had no attendant. You have to call down to have them bring anything up. Not something you expect from a 5 star hotel. It was truly a 4 star hotel that needs a lot of maintenance. "
