Unfortunately the Hotel is situated uphill and it took me at least 20minutes to get to the harbour on foot, no local buses and I had to get Taxis back to hotel. Also which is not advertised, no alcohol to be consumed on premises.

lack of security, toilet brush was absolutely soiled, angry patrons that were banging on the wall violently, absolutely horrible me and my friend did not feel safe. It's a stretch to call this place a hotel. Avoid, avoid, avoid

Paper thin walls, creaky floorboards.violent guests..not to us but a fight in the next room at 2.30 am and other shouting at 4.30 am.Hardly any bedroom furniture, loose bathroom taps, but the bed was comfy and the room and linin clean. Will not return under any circumstances and would not recommend. This is more like a hostel than a hotel as there is nobody on site after about 11 pm

I liked that it was not far from the beach and the center with shops - at least that's what I paid for. I didn't like the sheets with yellow spots and not ironed , the same bed with yellow spots and especially the smell of mold in the furniture and in the room. And even though it is written at the reception and on the room door that the check-in and check-out times were at 11 am, I received a message the day before the end of my stay that I had to check out the room at 8 am - I had to to contact and tell me that it was actually a mistake.

I wouldn't recommend it to anybody,as it was very tired looking and needed updateing desperately. Didnt understand the dining area as there were fridges and a freezer and a cupboard with bags of food in them .

Not a hotel. At best hostel. I was in Torquay with a mate for the night so it was somewhere to wash and rest our heads so sufficient. Would never bring family or children. Staff no where to be seen. Generally scruffy, outdated and tired.

Stay well clear of this place! Its not a hotel its a dirty hostel at best, no staff! Was shown to room by handyman. Kept up all night but the owners and a few people in the room above us, dirty disgusting noises all night till 9am plus loud talking and slamming doors literally all night! Hanging out the windows smokin and loud without a care for anyone. I had a 12 yr old with me so ended up 260 out of pocket as i had to book a new hotel! Disgusting place.. needs closing down!

The 'hotel' is a converted old house, divided into many rooms. Mine was just about adequate for one person in terms of size. There were only three coat hangers in the 'wardrobe', one of which was wire! The shower/toilet was minute, it would almost have been possible to wash your hands whilst seated! There was no food available on site. An acceptable place to sleep but not much more.

I liked the quiet around the hotel and the friendliness of the staff. The facilities are existing like a kitchen and a washing machine. The problem is walking a quite steep hill to reach the hotel.

As much as I could interact with staff, they were polite and nice. However, the service provided by the hotel was barely there. For a 5 night stay, our room was not serviced not even once. The room itself, seemed more of a twin room that had another single bed added to accomodate 3 single beds. The furniture in the room was very poor, the one table present, and extendable one, was damaged. Carpet in the bedroom was very dirty with spillage marks all over around. I would not use the hotel ever again.

The room was vey spacious the beds were very comfy. Reception couldn't help with ordering a taxi also wasn't given wifi details. The flush in the toilet wasnt very good and the pressure on the taps was low. When checking out we didn't get a chance to report abou thectaps and toilet as there was no one in Reception.

Stayed for 4 nights with my son, all we wanted was a room to stay in and relax in in the evenings, and that's what we got. Wasn’t what I expect was like a b@b tbh very old fashion was told we wasn’t allowed alcohol in our room yet there was drinking outside of hotel also could see trainers and socks hanging from the window didn’t look good also felt like the lady was waiting up for us to get back each night was clean the bed were two singles put together so didn’t sleep well will no be going back

Would definitely stay here again the staff were lovely, made us feel very welcome. On day one we had an issue with our sink they went out and brought us bottled water and promptly fixed it. Room was a good size, clean and tidy.
