Holiday Inn Express San Jose Costa Rica Airport by IHG
10/10 Excellent
"Unpleasant Airplane noise was expected due to the hotel's location but the staff and amenities were excellent. 24/7 shuttle service and nearby restaurants makes this a great choice for travelers coming from or going to the airport in San Jose.

Country Inn & Suites by Radisson, San Jose Aeropuerto, Costa Rica
8/10 Good
"Pros:
Nice pool, friendly staff, hotel shuttle, good breakfast, room was comfy. A few food options in walking distance.
Cons:
Walls are thin. I had a room on the highway side and could hear horns, semi truck decompression. The room next to me arrived in super late and they were talking & getting settled for 2 hours but the noise sounded like it was right there, could hear their full on conversation. "
Wyndham San Jose Herradura Hotel & Convention Center
2/10 Terrible
"I would like sumone call me I would like a refunded no hot water made service never showed up last few days I ask manifest she sed have Expedia request a refund and the wood flight was late and terrible as well can sumone call me 770-560-3704 thanks"
"We needed a pre-flight stay near the airport and chose the Courtyard by Marriott for its proximity to the airport. We had an excellent dinner in the restaurant before heading back to our room for an early bedtime. The beds were so comfortable, and we were able to block out the lights and noise from the airport and highway outside.
Our flight was at 6AM so we took advantage of the free shuttle to the airport. Shuttle starts at 4AM, it was on time and gave us plenty of time to check in and wait for our flight."
DoubleTree by Hilton Cariari - San Jose Costa Rica
4/10 Poor
"They double-booked my room so another guest tried to get in with a key that worked in the middle of the night. Then they called my room at 6am to ask how to spell my last name, then they knocked again at 7am for no reason whatsoever. "
