"I just visited Red Horse for the second time this weekend. This place is an absolute oasis to visit. Impeccably clean rooms with gorgeously appointed bathrooms and all the touches of home. They make it easy to keep up with all the little fussy things that make a place feel like home: coffee (and cream in the room's mini refrigerator), a filtered water/ice refrigerator where I can fill my yeti cup for the day's outing. Anyone who maintains such beautiful quilts, antiques, and little decor touches is cleary taking EXCEPTIONAL pride in what they do. And Darlene and Phil and even long-term resident Carl are absolute gems. I waited to write a review until my second stay only because I had to skip breakfast the first time, but the food was spectacular, too. Green chile omlette, sausage, and the baking these people do!!! Freshly baked apple cake (made with home grown apples), plus peanut butter cookies for the road (last time they sent me off with apple cobbler!) Just a lovely experience all around. "

"I was so happy with this rental. The host communicated and helped us to feel welcomed. The house was fantastic. Our family enjoyed the pool table and the open space. The house was very clean and stocked with everything we needed. Only thing missing was kleenex! The location is in a great area and not to far from Albuquerque fun! Will definitely rent here again!"

"There was no stay here for us! The owner literally ghosted us, and we were left to scramble and find a hotel in the area . The property looked abandoned and sketchy. Even tho we had stayed here previously and had a great experience the new owners are abysmal . Absolutely unacceptable ."
