This is a fine property excellently located across the street from Ueno Station. It is a very short walk from the Zoo, Museums, cherry blossom viewing, much shopping and restaurants. On the circular Yamenote train line, it is easy to explore Tokyo without having to switch lines. The rooms were perfectly clean, of adequate size and extremely quiet. I would absolutely stay here again!

Good place to stay in Ueno. Our room was small but big enough for two people with two suitcases each and a lot of shopping. I especially liked how close it was to Ueno station and how it was a quieter district of Tokyo. The staff can speak English and are very friendly and eager to help you. The price was great as well, would stay again :)

Hotel with small room, but great location
Staff is super nice and helpful and location is great. Room is small as expected. You can see the sky tree tower from the roof top, but the view is a bit blocked. They can keep your luggage in the storage before check-in and after check-out, if needed. They can also keep your luggage in the storage if you have a day trip spending a night elsewhere and then come back to this hotel.

I felt the hotel was a decent location but there were some areas of the hotel that felt it was a little damaged like the elevator which made the hotel feel a little older. It was decent for what it is and where it’s at but overall it was good. Breakfast was the same daily and no change. It’s not a buffet but a SET menu of either Japanese or Western breakfast. Wasn’t really worth the 1,200 yen.

Staff was not helpful. Needed a cab but due to language barrier we needed help arranging one but staff said they can’t help. Hotel room was dirty. Used contact lens and hair in bathroom, hair and dust on the bed when we arrived the room.

Stayed here for 10 nights and it was a super lovely stay. Will stay here again - rooms tend to be small. But that didn’t matter since the room was meant to shower and sleep in not hang out in.

The location was great and the staff at check in were really wonderful. The "hotel" is basically more of a motel quality so paying close to $200 per night was not great. I think for the right price this place would be perfect. The room is tiny and the hallway smells funny.

Location is great; it is close to the Keisei Ueno station for going to the narita airport and close to the JR Ueno station. The room however is very very small, could barely open one luggage at a time. The bunk bed’s stairs was also dusty and not very clean.

Stayed for 4nights, as the room is so small, we had to sit out to relax. The Lobby has a tiny two sitter Lounge. If the hotel really wants to put service as a welcoming factor, they should open up their Dinning area after Lunch, just to give guests an option to lounge around and not be confined to the tiny rooms.
