"The Mercure, Launceston was only just, clean and tidy but apart from the bar and restaurant manager the staff weren't very friendly and it certainly didn't seem like we were a priority. "

"A bit disappointing for a heritage property, it definitely needs refurbishing and the room we stayed in had a large beam that was cracked and rotten that need immediate attention. the bed was made but the sheet was sideways so the mattress protector was exposed and our feet were on it, which as realised in the middle of the night."

"The Art Hotel surprised us. It worked out well for our trip. It was next to the Catholic church, which was important for the lenten season and it surprised us. It was on a busy street, but very walkable, markets, the gorge, restaurants and downtown. It has a short check-in time which surprised us too. There was a call number to get the key for our room. We had minimal interactions with the staff."
