"We had a magical time staying at Ban Rai Tin Thai Ngarm Eco Lodge. This is a family run lodge surrounded by their beautiful garden and the mountains, a paradise away from the city. The hosts are the most hospitable people I have ever met, they made us feel welcome immediately. Breakfast was delicious, and the hosts give advice and maps of the area to explore. My only regret is not staying longer, I never wanted to leave. If you are thinking about booking here, do it, you will not regret it!"
"Beautiful garden(village i can say), Cool swimming pool, delicious western style breakfast, and of course the place we stayed was perfectly wonderful. I feel really blessed that we could be this close to nature, listening birds chirping sound and gentle stream sound.
Most of all, the host is very generous and kind. Definitely recommendable to all of the world who travels to Chiang mai. "
"Hotel itself is a gem, beautiful property! Rooms were large and clean. During our stay the hotel was not busy at all, we hardly saw any other guests. Amenities wise a bit limited I think because there wasn’t many guests so the restaurant/bar closed early, but there is an amazing cafe across the street. "
"My purpose of coming to Chiang Mai was to run the Doi Pui Summit 45km trail run on 10 Nov.
Staying in Jiang Lha, i am happy to have new friends > AA (IU IU), Kachama, Tor, The Auntie and her daughter who cooked my meals for me, Thorn, Sou, Shirley and another Thai lady whom manages Jiang Lha (sorry I forgot her name).
First, the scenic environment caught my heart and it was a good place to rest my mind before the race.
Secondly (most important), the excellent and wrm hearted service...
"This is a low priced but clean alternative for budget travelers and local Thai people.
Do not expect special services or even English speaking workers. Nonetheless, it is clean and well located. "
"Idyllic and very quiet, perfect for couples retreat. Staff is friendly and engaging. We had a really good time there just lounging by the pool and watching Ping river during golden hour. "

"Arguably the best hotel in Chiang Mai. Very comfortable and well-furnished rooms, excellent facilities, and friendly and attentive staff. Buffet breakfast is a highlight.. "
"I can’t say enough about the service at POR! The staff went above and beyond to make my first visit to Thailand easy and so enjoyable. They helped to arrange for my daily activities and were quick to answer all my questions. The daily breakfasts were amazing and the beverages and snacks available all day were definitely a plus. Thank you everyone at POR!"
"I stayed in 2 other hotels in Chiang Mai before Cmor and those were nice especially the S17 but this hotel takes the cake.
First the staff members are excellent. I don't speak Thai but there were a lot of people working who spoke English. They are friendly, they greet me coming and going and had no issue with my goofiness. Shout out to the dining room captain Pea, great person. I spoke to her and she gave me some Thai lessons and just listened to me.
I stayed in a junior suite(2 double beds) by myself next to the pool. During the day time you can hear people in the pool which is fine for me, I'm awake usually around that time or out of my room.
The tv did have some a dead pixel line on the right side and some decoloration but majority of the time I was on my laptop or phone. It has multiple stations of different nationalities.
The room comes with AC nothing outdated or spaceage. I didn't use it as much, because I wanted my body to adjust to the temperature in Thailand.
The bathroom does need a little more lighting around the mirror area, maybe a small light bar can be placed above it for cheap. The toilet comes with a bumblaster, there's a standing shower next to it and on the other side of the bathroom is a nice bathtub. There are blinds in the bathroom to let in some light but again a light bar would really help. There's no outlets in the bathroom, seems to be consistent in Thailand.
There's a decent bed, folding couch, small table, 2 chairs."
"Beautiful, serene property with wonderful food, kind and attentive staff, and lovely hot springs-fed pools. Ducks, rabbits and terraced farms add to the peaceful mountain ambiance. I have rarely felt so relaxed. "
"Not enough can be said about the helpfulness of the staff at this Four Seasons. They had a considerable number of activities that were both educational and fun to break up the day between dips in the pool for families with younger children.
Would definitely stay here again if/when I were to return to the Chiang Mai area.
We were so happy with the resort that I felt bad leaving for the various excursions we planned. I could not recommend more highly."
"Amazing experience, hotel highly recommended. Not in the old town, but in an area close to bars and restaurants. 5 minutes taxi drive to the old town. "
