Welcome to Bundaleer, a beautifully renovated chalet nestled in the sought-after Woodridge area of Thredbo. Just a 5-minute walk from Friday Flats, the leisure centre, and bus stops, this stunning retreat offers the perfect blend of luxury, comfort, and convenience.

Inside, you'll find a gourmet kitchen, fully equipped for entertaining, along with a spacious dining area featuring a large table that comfortably seats 12+ guests. Relax by the stone gas fireplace, or step outside to enjoy the outdoor BBQ area.

Bundaleer boasts five well-appointed bedrooms,
Practical features include a large boot/drying room to keep your ski gear organised, as well as a washer and dryer for added convenience. Outside, there's plenty of flat bushland where kids can play, and level parking for three cars right at the front door.

Great little getaway

The proprietor was very prompt, courteous and helpful before and during our stay. Gave us all pertinent information regarding address, where the keys would be located and what we could expect. Also gave us some information about surrounding area with things to do as well as some nice restaurants that he recommended. The little golf course was a treat and so much fun to chip and putt around on. We really enjoyed our stay.

Nice place with space

Overall everything was good. Clean and close to everything. Beautiful white sand beaches and good stores, restaurants, and boardwalk. Yes a bit dated and needs some upgrades, but everything is clean and nice. King bed very comfortable. Great for several night stay!

Week long getaway

I love staying at Sandpiper Cove. It's such a great location and a great resort. Jim was incredibly responsive and I had everything that I needed in the condo.

perfect for our simple needs

The condo had a nice view of the canal. Easy to walk to the beach and restaurant. Tennis & Pickle ball courts are available. The king size bed was wonderful!! I found two great books to read also. We felt safe in our surroundings also. Very close to all kinds of shopping needs.

We enjoyed the beach and pools.

Only complaint is our condo was towards the back of the property and it was a far walk to th beach and tv in the living room was very fuzzy on all the channels and was hard to see clearly.

Life is better at the beach!

Stayed here with my children. They enjoyed the view from the balcony - looking at the fish, turtles and birds. Plenty of dishes and household items to feel at home. The private access to the beach was amazing. We enjoyed eating at the restaurant right on the beach for lunch. Everything is close - little travel time which leaves plenty of time for soaking up the sun! Will return!

This property exceeded my expectations. End unit overlooking the canal. Large, clean, very useable. New tile floors were great ! Had everything including beach chairs and toys. Private beach with good parking. Simple bar and grill on the beach. Close to everything. Highly recommend !

Great stay!

We had a wonderful time in Destin as always. Mr Carville's condo is great! We have stayed in his condo before and it has everything you will need! The king bed is comfy. Loved the new sofa too. The condo has always been clean too. We enjoy sitting on the balcony and watching the ducks and boats in the canal. I can't say enough about how nice Mr. Carville is. He is quick to answer any questions you might have. Of course we will be staying here again next year!

Wonderful family vacation

We had a wonderful stay at Sandpiper Cove! The grounds were wonderfully maintained, and beautiful. We felt very safe with the 24 security also. This was in the perfect location, we were close enough to all of the fun activities that Destin offers, yet secluded enough to enjoy the private beach with not much traffic. We will definitely be back as son as possible! This condo was perfect for our family, and our children loved over looking the canal full of boats and ducks and fish! We really enjoyed being able to cook our own meals, and have a washer and dryer! We even came home from our trip with clean laundry! We can't wait to get back! Lisa

Cozy cottage feel and a short drive to anywhere

Excellent value. The canal in front of the unit posed as a large source of our entertainment. The fish are very lively and fun to watch. As for location, you can't beat the price point. The unit is nestled at the back of sandpiper cove however after just a few moments of walking, or an even shorter bike ride, you're toes can be in the sugar white sands of the private beach. A lot of Destins most popular restaurants are just a short drive away. As for the unit itself, it could use a little updating, but that didn't effect our stay whatsoever. The dishwasher and washer and dryer in the unit made light work of our daily chores. The bed was slightly uncomfortable until we picked up two twin air mattresses from Walmart and put them under the main mattress- then we got some of the best nights sleep ever. Jim was very responsive to our messages and super helpful. We hope to book here again in the future. Thank you for one of our most favorite trips to Destin yet!

Worst Rental Experience Ever!

Let me start off by saying we have stayed at Sandpiper Cove on a number of occasions and have always had a great experience. This time however turned out to be the worst rental experience we have ever had here or anywhere we have stayed in the world! When we arrived at the property it was a complete mess! Beds still unmade from the previous guest, dead roaches in the bathroom, dirty towels stacked on the washing machine and a toilet with water so brown you couldn't see through it! When my wife saw the condition of the bathroom she ran out and said we are NOT staying in this condo! Not to mention the dirty walls in the bedroom, dirty floors and a disgusting living room rug that looked like it hadn't been cleaned in 20 yrs! I had to call VRBO and get the owners phone number since he wouldn't respond to emails so we could inform him we were not staying in his condo and wanted a refund. The only plus is that we did receive a refund, but we had to stay in a hotel our first night since it was too late to book another condo after check-in time. If you are considering staying at Sandpiper, I would advise you stay away from this one and book with someone else.

Budget Friendly, comfortable

Stop right here, this is the one....! We had a great vacation here at this condo! We stayed for 2 full weeks and after a TON of searching, we found that this condo was the BEST value at Sandpiper Cove...Take my word for it! The owner is very accommodating and made sure we had everything we needed while we were there; he even called and emailed to make sure we were good to go upon arrival. After arriving, we realized that there was ample space and plenty of storage, a fully stocked kitchen, and the king memory foam mattress in the bedroom was so awesome that we slept better in that bed than our own bed at home! The pull out trundle bed was also comfortable. The shower pressure was even great. We caught plenty of fish off of our balcony and there was plenty of fish and bird life to see~ the grounds at Sandpiper are incredibly green and lush, as well as the golf course~ we would walk out the door and play golf several times a week, or only have a 3 minute walk to the pool on the harbor. The canal view is definitely the best view in Sandpiper Cove...This condo is peaceful, practical, and comfortable. Thanks for everything, Jim. We are already booked up for next year!

Fun get away

Very nice condo, it worked very good for my wife and I. Its right on a canal, so we'd sit out there in the morning and see ducks, fish and turtles. Everyone in the development was nice as well. Wish we would've had a chance to golf the 9 holes that are in amongst the units(there were clubs in the condo, even lefties for my wife). It looked like a fun little course and you only need a wedge and a putter. Its also a short walk to get down on the beach as well. Check in/out was very easy. Would definitely stay again!

Winter vacation

I have thought long and hard about whether or not to write this review. The owner requested that we not ! However, I would truly hate to see others have a similar experience. Based on the ratings that we saw online, everything appeared to be great. The unit definitely needs some updating, but our biggest concern was the lack of cleanliness !! Furniture, carpet, towels, bed linens were all stained and dirty. I even took pictures and sent to the owner to ensure he knew what his unit looked like. We bought several items at target because we weren’t comfortable sitting on the dirty, stained sofapoint. point. The po.
