"The rooms were very clean and well kept. The beds were very comfortable. The breakfast: There was no cereal or variety of breads like bagels. Yogurts were great. I do give them the benefit of the doubt on this because it was an off week, in between holidays. It was very quiet. Staff was wonderful. We will definitely be back. "

The kitchen was well stocked and the beds were comfortable Great location for hikes and exploring the little towns nearby. Absolutely perfect for what we were looking for. And I’m longing for a cast iron stove like that for my home. "

"We had an excellent stay at Black Bear Bungalow! The home is just as lovely as advertised and had every thing we needed for our time there. The space was clean and cozy, the skylights were an extra treat, and Karen was a great, communicative host. "

"Very clean and comfortable accommodations. However, the kitchen lacked some significant appliances and utensils. No coffee maker for a group of people though there are two bedrooms. No microwave. Lacked utensils, i.e., only one tea spoon, no spatulas. The refrigerator had no ice maker. (I had to go out and buy my own ice.) These small things took away from an otherwise nice place."
