"Stayed here recently for a couple of nights. Room had lovely decor, really cosy and put together. It also had good amenities: quick kettle and a strong hairdryer (not attached to the wall so more convenient). We didn’t use the gym or have breakfast so can’t comment on those. Parking is first come, first served and was full by mid morning at the weekend so bear that in mind if you’re driving. There are other car park options nearby however. Our only complaints were: 1) that the bed was very firm, so we kept waking up in the night with stiff shoulders; and 2) the grouting in the bathroom was getting a little grotty so probably needed replacing or a deep clean. The room was otherwise spotless however. Staff were friendly. Overall, a pleasant stay - just maybe change those mattresses!"
