"Initial concerns regarding cleanliness in the bathroom were quickly resolved to an acceptable standard. Staff were friendly and approachable. Breakfast was good although some items from the buffet were not re stocked straight away when used up ,ie ,juice. The bar ,although well stocked was really overpriced. "

"I was a walker arriving at the Nag's Head at 15.30. I was warmly received and shown to my very comfortable room. Although the restaurant was closed on a Tuesday evening, i was provided with a wonderful Chinese meal at a very modest cost. I requested a continental breakfast which was fine. Pick Hill is a lovely small village with a long history, some of which is displayed in the ancient church. "

"South View is a superbly fitted out property. Exceptionally clean & comfortable. The kitchen has an abundance of crockery and utensils. Outside the property there is plenty of parking for two cars. Thirsk is a short drive away. We would thoroughly recommend this property."

"Absolutely amazing time perfect for relaxing and unwinding, just a little hang up no soap holder in shower. The addition of the gates on entry make it really private and a benefit if you have animals. All amenities are excellent so you really can just unpack and relax. Would highly recommend this cabin. Can’t wait to re- book 😊"
