Great stay

sitting on the balcony with a beer or a glass of wine looking over the forest listening to the birds singing,new pool very nice,local shops good restaurant by the lake good food not far 2km, good central place to go and look around lots to do,the host was a very nice man and his wife,would go again.

Fantastic family holiday

Beautiful. The house is set in lovely countryside, the pool is fantastic, well maintained and cleaned daily by the owner, Ivan Ivan was around to answer any questions but otherwise left us undisturbed. The fishing lake is an added bonus A great holiday, thank you

Love the sheep watching!

This is our second stay at Yvans property, so it's got to be good! It suits us as there's only 3 of us, so we get a double bed each! Great swimming pool. Balcony is great for sheep watching! And wildlife in general, as you are up a height. Place is built on a cave system!

We had a wonderful stay in the Dordogne. We loved the pool and the outdoor area. The rooms were clean and the owners were very kind. The beds were a little short for tall Dutch people, but we discovered that this is something common in France. We highly recommend this place to others.

Lovely house in the middle of the country

The house and pool were excellent. The house had all we needed. The cave below the house was a real bonus, The beds were good as was the kitchen. We had a great time in the pool, and used it every day.

bel emplacement avec un large éventail de possibilités

maison de vacances confortable avec piscine et bel endroit pour séjourner à l'intérieur comme à l'extérieur. Même lorsqu'il pleut, vous pourrez prendre un repas au calme sous le grand toit en surplomb, lire un livre, jouer à un jeu de société, etc.

Agréable séjour

Merci aux propriétaires charmants et à notre écoute. Le gîte est bien situé pour les visites du Périgord noir. Très agréable quand il fait chaud avec son ombrage sans oublier sa piscine. Les enfants et nous, avons passé une belle semaine.

Merci à Yvan qui s'est plié en 4 pour rendre la maison encore plus accessible et a fabriqué en moins de 2 une pente adaptée au fauteuil de ma compagne. Vieille maison où se côtoient rustique et déco moderne. Nous y reviendrons avec grand plaisir.

Lovely countryside property just outside Thenon.

Yvan the property owner was great, very easy to communicate with, only wish my French was better! He didn't bother us at all, though if we needed anything all we had to do was go around to his house a couple of houses away. Was great for only 3 of us! A bedroom each,and we're not getting any younger!

It was clean well looked after and had obviously had a lot of recent work carried out especially around the pool. The owner was very nice and would clean the pool daily.
