"We often stay in Oceanside, and i booked the stay at the hotel oceanside, in which we left quickly after the first night. Wildly bad night, loud, kids running in halls, laundry going all night, extremely loud traffic, terrible beds and pillows! Now at THIS Motel 6, it was such a great stay, staff are great, front desk lady was too nice. Rooms were spotless with great bedding and pillows!! They even brought me a room fan to help me sleep!! This place is different because they care and they show it! My new place to bring my family to hang out in san diego county. Close to everything!!! Thank you so much Motel 6, carlsbad north!!"

"We loved our stay at the Seabird!! We are locals and were here one night for my husband's 50th birthday. They comped our parking for the occasion and gave us a free glass of champagne at check in - great start! They also decorated our room with a Happy Birthday sign, balloons, and other decor. The hotel lobby is beachy, relaxing, and decorated with fun, whimsical art, plus at least 6 Christmas trees for the holidays. I loved the calm library room and enjoyed the gym. My husband had a very nice massage at the spa and said it was the most relaxed he'd been in a while. :-) It's great being able to walk across the street to the beach, the boardwalk, and the pier, plus the cool restaurants and bars on Mission Ave. It's also a very short drive to some great restaurants in downtown Carlsbad. We didn't have our kids with us, but they also have a kids play room, a pool table in the commons area, and a nice pool with jacuzzi. It's clean, beautiful, and the staff was all very friendly and professional. Would definitely stay here again!! "
