"We had a wonderful overnight 'mother and daughter' stay. Caron is an amazing host and made us feel so welcome. We had a twin room (No 5) towards the top of the house. It was a very spacious room, beautifully decorated and had everything you needed including lovely comfy beds. The guesthouse is spotlessly clean and decorated to a very high standard with some great art work. Caron made us feel at home and spent quite a while chatting with us.
The cooked breakfast was first class. We had yogurt to start with and then a full english made with local products followed by toast with a selection of jams etc. The coffee was from a caffetaire and was wonderful as was the tea. The dining room is very large but felt so cosy and warm again wonderfully decorated.
Warwick Lodge is in a great location for restaurants, bars, the castle, cathedral, shops and railway station. Parking is provided but this was not needed as we travelled by train and just a 10 min walk from the station.
We had a wonderful stay, thank you Caron for everything."
