"It was too cold for the swimming pool as it is mid October, there were people using the hot tub, but I have one in my room and the sauna so why bother it was so wonderful and the staff was super. Christina was the most wonderful ball."

"We had an absolutely wonderful stay at Palazzo Brandano in the tiny Tuscan village of Petroio (population around 287!). From the day before our arrival, Laura was already in touch with us—her communication and genuine care made us feel welcome and looked after right away. The hotel is full of character and perfectly situated in this charming little town. Petroio itself feels like something out of a movie—you can literally drive through it in about 4 minutes. The streets are narrow, winding, and picturesque, giving you the sense you’ve stepped back in time. While there aren’t any restaurants directly in town, there are several excellent options just a few minutes’ drive from the hotel, which worked out perfectly for us. The breakfast in the morning was very good, the cappuccinos were excellent, and the servers were amazing—extremely kind and incredibly fast in bringing out your food. Laura and the team went above and beyond to make our visit special. If you’re looking for a hidden gem that offers attentive service, authentic Tuscan charm, and the magic of staying in a very small Italian town, Palazzo Brandano is a perfect choice. "

"We spent a week at this beautiful farmhouse. The views were amazing both inside and outside the property. Sunsets were awesome and the stillness and serenity was breathtaking. The property was large and comfortable. Our hosts Giacomo and Cinzia were lovely and so welcoming and helpful. Our children fell in love with their little dog, Pimpa and each morning our son would walk up the drive to find her. On our last night they invited us for dinner and we sat in the garden, with wine, Parma ham, bruschetta and melon and enjoyed a great time together. Before dinner Giacomo gave us a tour of how the olive farming had developed over the years and it’s fascinating. Their olive oil is prize winning and we have taken a few bottles back home with us. We are hoping to visit again next year! "

"This is a perfect villa in a perfect location. The interior is excellently equipped and is very comfortable and spacious, and the multiple external relaxing/dining areas are ideal for enjoying the incredible views in every direction, whilst the large pool is perfect for cooling off from the summer sun. The whole villa was spotlessly clean and tidy, and the gardens were beautifully maintained. Luigi provided very helpful information about the villa and surrounding area in advance of our arrival, and was regularly keeping in touch during our stay to ensure that everything was to our satisfaction. We enjoyed the most amazing two weeks in this fantastic villa, and we would not hesitate to return if we get the chance to do so again in future. Thank you, Luigi. "

"Fantastic property with stunning views - especially of the sunsets each evening. The kitchen has everything that is needed (and more). A really good sized pool, large beds and en-suites for every bedroom was such a bonus. The owner, Luigi, is so approachable, friendly and helpful suggesting places to visit and even organising a vet visit for our dog to have his medical check before our journey home. Montisi is a perfect Tuscan village beautiful but without the tourists and has a couple of bars, a couple of restaurants, a small shop for emergencies and someone who offers a watercolour painting session whatever your ability (would really recommend this with Elizabeth Cochrane)"

The breakfast is good and the dinners so delicious. Also, the staff speaks English very well. If you are looking for a place with beautiful scenery and good food, this place is great. "
