Wonderful location for exploring Montepulciano. Loved that we could easily walk from the property to dinner and shops. Owners were very helpful and quick to respond to any questions. Amazing breakfast and the family suite was very spacious.

Il Tosco is a quiet, clean and charming place to stay while traveling in Tuscany. The common rooms are cozy and the elegant breakfasts are the best we encountered in Italy. This is a wonderful place to stay with a local quality. Well worth the higher cost.

The only thing better than the property was the attentive team. An excellent stay, and I would highly recommend the property. The room was spacious, clean, and modern and the overall property offered great services - a kitchen, homemade pastries / coffee around the clock, and a great location to boot. We will definitely be back to stay again!

Hosts were absolutely amazing! The breakfast was unbelievable, rooms very comfortable and very close to the heart of the city. Main piazza is about a 2 min walk. Upon arrival the gost gave us a rundown on the best places to eat and shop in the city, as well as some day trip options in Val D'orcia Thank you for the great stay!!!

Il Tosca was a very nice property centrally located. Elena was very communicative from before we arrived and provided clear instructions on how to find the property. Angelina was incredibly helpful when we checked in and throughout our stay. Elena’S mother made the most delicious baked goods. We look forwarded to coming back to Montepulciano and staying at Il Tosco again.

What a spectacular stay! My family chose this place as home base for our week in Tuscany and it’s literally one of the most incredible places we have ever stayed- the building has an amazing history- the rooms were beautiful and furniture stunning- lots of hot water- very clean- high quality linens etc The breakfasts prepared by the owner were over the top good- and she always lefts many cakes- desserts and snacks for my family - as well as fruit- treats and drinks - there are many restaurants in waking distance and you are right in the historic center with shops and wine tastings - all of the staff were amazing - highly highly recommend- we had the two rooms and private sitting room and it was huge and very private for our family - we will be back!

If we had to return to one place in all of Italy, we’d choose Il Tosco. It was absolutely SPECTACULAR! Elena was the most wonderful hostess, providing many recommendations, of which every one was spot on! The breakfast was out of this world - better than any place we’ve ever stayed. Kitchen was stocked with the most delicious olive oil cake and many other goodies around the living area to enjoy. Walkable to everything in Montepulciano. I could not overstate how wonderful this bed and breakfast is - RUN, don’t walk to make your reservation here. Two nights was not enough!

Magical place to call home in Montepulciano

Amazing place, cannot imagine a better, more magical stay for our group of 5 adults, renting out the whole house. Elena was amazing, gave us great advice for local attractions and helped us by booking dinner reservations and a wine cellar tour. Angelina was also fantastic with our morning breakfasts and other logistics of our stay. Rooms were fantastic, common rooms beautifully designed and spacious, a great blend of historical charm and modern amenities. The breakfast was simply outstanding, felt like royalty with the spread and the uniquely prepared items each of the 3 mornings we were there.

This place is a gem! The great reviews steered me to this booking and they were correct! The owner bakes lovely cakes and has them on offer all day through your stay. This gives a lovely feeling of welcome. Very much reminded me of my Italian relatives and I felt wonderful in our stay there. Room was comfortable, shower and bedding very good. Breakfast amazing, sit down service, at a shared table. Parking is down the hill at a lot with reserved spots. Dinner is in town and we were advised to get reservations but didn't do so; the advice was correct and most places were fully booked. We ultimately found a great one, called The Romantic, overlooking the valley behind the main plaza in the upper town. It had the best breeze, the best food, and the most engaging staff! We returned the next day. Montepulciano is a wonderful town, and this is a wonderful place to stay, and I would highly recommend and would gladly return! Our favorite of our entire visit to Tuscany.

Il Tosco is an absolute gem. We could not recommend staying here more! The property is stunning, the rooms are amazing and Angelina, Elena and team are wonderful hosts. The breakfast is to die for and the location is perfect. We cannot wait to return.
