The hallways were dark, had low ceilings, and didn’t feel especially clean, and there were many older-style rooms with sliding glass doors opening directly to the parking lot. Unfortunately, the deadbolt on our room door also didn’t work. We felt unsafe enough that we quietly left and booked another hotel instead — without even requesting a refund — simply because we no longer felt comfortable staying there."
