"Staff was super courteous. The pictures online show some renovated and some more vintage. We definitely landed in a vintage room, but it was clean and the bed slept well. It was quiet and the first time we booked through a third party (and we travel frequently) that we were not booked a room next to a stairwell, ice machine or across from the elevator! "

"This property is completely top to bottom the best VRBO we’ve ever been to. The host was awesome with great communication and being sure we had everything we needed. The property is so nice. If you’re looking for a quiet place off the beating path this is it. Beautiful place inside and out. Probably the cleanest property I’ve ever been to. The porch and outdoor lights were awesome. If we are ever in the area again I would not even search for something different this would be my place. "

"Rachel’s Place is a unique cottage, with everything you could need. We happened to occupy the cottage directly during the terrible national storm. Since no one was registered to stay immediately after us, we extended our stay by one day to allow the road conditions to improve somewhat. It took eleven hours to return home, but we made it without incident. We absolutely loved Rachel’s place and hope to return sometime. The owners do a good job of anticipating the needs of their guests, since there was nothing at all lacking in what we needed, even during the difficult, frigid storm. We highly recommend Rachel’s Place."
