"Do not book this property! We were misled on fees, asked to send money outside of VRBO, and had a stranger lingering around the property for hours, making us feel uncomfortable and unsafe.Should’ve paid attention to the past reviews, specifically from 2024!The listing was advertised as pet-friendly, and we paid the listed pet fees at booking after confirming there would be no additional charges. After our stay, the host attempted to charge extra anyway, contradicting what we were told.We were also asked to send payment via WhatsApp or Zelle instead of through VRBO. During the stay, an unexpected individual was on the property all day doing “garden work” and identified themselves as the host, which conflicted with who we had been communicating with. This raised serious privacy concerns.To top it off, a smoke detector went off at 4:00 AM, waking everyone up. We were all terrified, as we don’t even know why it went off!The host claimed they had never received a bad review before. Based on this experience, that is hard to believe. I would not stay here again."

"This is a beautiful boutique hotel. Our room was huge, very clean and comfortable. The cleaning lady was very attentive and helpful with our special request related to extra bed sheets. The owner lives on the property and greeted us personally. There is plenty of free(!!!) parking available. The area is quiet and picturesque. We stayed for 5 nights and highly recommended this place."

"This is a lovely home with water views. We enjoyed our stay so much!!! The home is spacious, yet cozy, and beautifully and thoughtfully decorated. Everything you could possibly need was there, and everything was put away in an orderly and organized manner. We had our family reunion over Easter weekend at this house, and everyone remarked on how special it is! I’d give 10 stars if I could! Thank you for a wonderful family holiday!"
