"We checked in late as we were running behind and the property manager was able to honor our request of a downstairs room which we really needed after a long day of travel. The room was nice, nothing fancy but it was clean and a decent size. They do have a strict no noise policy after 10pm which is also appreciated. The only negative and this is not meant to change your plans, but the property is older and the floors are not quiet so if you have a ground floor room and someone is above you, you will hear them especially if the are not light of foot. Again this is nothing against the hotel or the property managers at all, I just noticed some negative 1 and 2 star reviews and there is not much that can be done with an older motel. I would definitely stay at this property again especially for the price."

"The Quality Inn in Coos Bay was relatively nice, but a bit dated. The stairs were not always even, which could be hazardous for elderly people, the shower fluctuated hot and turned cold after about 7-10 min. but would get hot again after turning off the water for a min. The first room we were given, one of the beds had been slept on and had a little dirt on the bed and floors, so the staff were kind to give us another room next door, which was great. The hot breakfast was delicious and plentiful! It was very comfortable beds."

"This once premier property is certainly showing its age. It's obvious the days of conventions and hundreds of guest are gone and the facility appears to be utilized at 10-15% of its capacity. We had a single king room - clean and spacious but the once-proud furniture is scratched and nicked with the base wood showing beneath the cherry veneer. Bed was comfortable, A/C was adequate but real loud when the compressor kicked on. Plenty of bar soap, shampoo, conditioner and lotion. Loads of hot water but the control knob for the shower was about to fall off. Towells were thin and long past their prime. Drains in the sinks were really slow. The in-room coffee station had no creamer and a single lonely packet of sugar. The coffee machine in the lobby was broken and there was not even a pretense of breakfast. Check in staff offered no greeting and seemed pre-occupied with another issue – talking to perhaps a maintenance staff person as if I wasn’t even there. No so much as a, “thank you” was offered. We have much better stays at La Quinta or Holiday Inn facilities and they offer a decent breakfast. Won’t be staying here again."

"Wonderful place to stop amongst your travels and lay your sleepy heads! The staff running the place are FANTASTIC, very kind and helpful. The place is clean and has all the essentials needed. The only recommendation I do have for them is to make a key drop off box available for those who would like to check out early, before open office hours at 8. That way early risers can set out on their next adventure as soon as they'd like :) Thank you for the great stay!"

"The property is exactly what it looks like in the pictures. We really enjoyed making a fire and sitting outside. If you book a cabin, pay close attention to waterfront or water view. We booked water view and didn't realize. We asked to upgrade to one of the 4 empty waterfront cabins but were told it would be a 161 dollar upcharge! We didn't feel like any cabin should be 161 dollars let alone an upgrade. It's clean, they obviously care deeply about the property but we left feeling like it was lacking."
