"Prospect Place was a lovely place to stay. The house was clean and well presented. The kitchen was well stocked with utensils and equipment. Ideal for a two person stay in a beautiful location. The only downside was parking. Parking at the front of the house was possible but often a tight squeeze."

"This is a very pleasant hotel, ideally situated for those arriving in Skipton by train. It's virtually the first thing you see when leaving the station. It's a ten minute stroll into the town centre, past a former cotton mill, and there's an alternative route via the attractive canal towpath, easily accessible from the rear of the hotel. My room was a single, very comfortable with an en suite shower, with a Juliet balcony overlooking the canal. Breakfast was good and all staff were pleasant and attentive.I didn't use the restaurant but I'm sure that's a good option if you don't want to walk into town in the evening. "

"Very conveniently located for the railway, Tesco and the town centre. Warm, friendly welcome. Nice complimentary refreshments in the room. Tastefully decorated room. There are quite a lot of stairs to reach the upper floors, and there is no lift."

"Great place but a bit tired in places and needs a revamp and update. Garden needs cutting back and patio and yard could do with a jetway. If the place is to be dog friendly it needs a gate on the back yard. We had to use a piece of board to block it off.TV and hifi needs sorting out. Tiny TV and yet a high value speaker that you needed a good bit of knowledge to work out as there were no instructions.Overall a good location but a revamp and bit of TLC Would go a long way. The neighbours were fantastic. Very friendly."

"We had a pleasant stay at Hayton Way, as a group of 6 adults the living room was a bit of a squeeze but we managed. The kitchen was clean and well equipped with the exception of mugs, two each would have been more practical. The bedrooms were nice, clean with very comfortable beds but king size rather than doubles would have been better. The showers could have benefited from an upgrade but otherwise the bathrooms were fine. There were one or two niggles around the house but nothing serious, we enjoyed our stay, the town with its many attractions was just a 15 minute walk away along the canal path."
