"Let me say, the only reason I’m giving 4 instead of 5 is simply because we could feel the racism from the staff as Honduran-Americans over more “American” looking guests. It was very hurtful and did not make me feel comfortable as a guest in the hotel. Other than that, the place itself is beyond gorgeous and when my family and I were alone swimming we had lots of fun. The kayak staff was incredibly friendly though and an amazing person! I would recommend staying here but be aware that unless you’re speaking in English, lots of staff including the snack shop cashier and the receptionist will treat you like they’re annoyed at your mere presence."

"I feel like we got lucky when we chose this location. The property is beautiful and well maintained. The beachfront and swimming pool are cleaned daily. The kitchen was well stocked with all the appliances and cooking utensils a group of eight could need. The lucky part was Amos and the boat. We used his services most days. Not only did he drive the boat to wonderful snorkeling locations. He also directed us to delicious restaurants and a 16 line zip line experience that included sloths, birds, and monkeys. We snorkeled with starfish, stingrays, and sharks! We never had to go through any travel services. This saved us a lot of time and money and transportation costs. Amos‘s laid-back personality made us feel comfortable and never rushed. If you book this place, call Amos before scheduling anything else. 504-3262-1561. He just wants us to have a good time so that we will come back. We will!"

"I’m so relaxed. This house facilitated the recovery from a hectic life that we all needed. Being on the quiet Sandy Bay beach, watching the ocean from the glorious deck, falling asleep in the hammock… just magic. The house itself is great… not the fanciest, but pretty cool nonetheless. We will be back."
