"Mostly the room was ok. Bath only had 1 towel. Didnt notice til morning. One side of the bed had 2 hdmi plugs. No electric. Other side had nothing. Asked girl at desk if they had an extension cord we could use. She said I could go buy one at the store. If you have a cpap it makes it pretty tough."

"A Grand Exterior, A Slightly Underwhelming Stay (With Potential) Set in an imposing and rather beautiful building in the heart of Stirling, the Collasio Hotel couldn’t be better placed. Surrounded by cobbled streets, period buildings, the dramatic presence of Stirling Castle and the nearby Old Town Jail, you genuinely feel like you’re about to step onto the set of a period drama—grand, atmospheric, and full of promise. Inside, however, that sense of occasion fades rather quickly. The décor feels oddly generic and, at times, a little cheap—more “Dunelm clearance aisle” than historic Scottish landmark. There’s little to no sense of the building’s story or its surroundings, and the overall effect leans towards something slightly tacky rather than thoughtfully styled. Strip away the exterior and you could just as easily be in a budget chain hotel off a motorway. This continues in the Bruce Suite. While the name gives a nod to Robert the Bruce, the design leans more towards crushed velvet, silver accents and modern abstract art. It’s not without effort, but the overall feel is less “curated design” and more “recently discovered a love of interiors and gone all in at once”—plenty of enthusiasm, if not quite a clear point of view. There are also a few small quirks that raise a smile. A decanter and glasses are thoughtfully placed in the room—though entirely empty, leaving you to decide whether to admire it or start your own minibar. "Great hotel, friendly staff and beautiful room"

"Wing Street is an excellent property in the middle of Stirling town center. Rooms are well kept, decorated and clean. My only minor issue was finding the parking but I met the owner as I was leaving to park and he gave me directions. Parking is immediately behind the building with an entrance available. They provided a large bottle of water in the mini-fridge as well as milk for coffee and tea. Bed was comfortable and WiFi worked well. We would recommend it as a place to stay while visiting Stirling."

"The room was okay, but was in need of refurbishment. I.E. Furniture was old, only one bedside table, electric sockets difficult to get to, bathroom door handle loose. Stayed 2 nights and bed not made with room cleaning. Had a meal in the bar that was served cold."

"Very nice people. Made our stay very pleasant. Enjoyed the wine and beer on the patio with our host after we settled into our room. They gave us a wonderful recommendation for a restaurant for a yummy dinner."

"I chatted to the staff member about my stay , she was the loveliest girl who lives in stirling, so friendly, I hate to review when you can deal with a problem there and then, my stay at the hotel had everything I needed in the room , bed was comfy, kept clean and stocked with tea/coffee and plenty of fresh towels but it was advertised as a bar where to be honest it didn’t have much, no food either but plenty of eateries nearby, I asked for a glass of wine but none in stock, I opted for a glass of Prosecco instead, there was no reception area just a laptop at the table as you walk in, I didn’t expect the staircase to the rooms to make me feel a little scared, one part very dark, it wasn’t the experience of a hotel stay ive had previous , it is very central to everything but I just didn’t feel very comfortable on my own like I’ve had with previous hotels, my room I was able to hear every person walk past and there full conversation which was difficult when tryin to sleep, the noise was actually ok coming from the students out in the streets "
