Shay and Lisa created a warm and welcoming environment for our 3 night stay. We loved being able to find little nooks to relax in throughout their garden and yard. We enjoyed the game room, farm to table meals, and delicious wines. We would highly recommend a visit!

Absolutely incredible, the communication was great, the setting beautiful ( sunrise, sunsets and Mt.Hood) the Hosts were amazing ( thank you again for fresh eggs and fresh baked bread). The bed was oh so comfortable and everything we need from cooking to recreation was available ( Lisa thank you again for lending Clay the fishing rod) I have stayed in a lot of vacation rentals and in all aspects I would give this one a 10-10 .

Wonderful Getaway

The perfect place to have a getaway. The home was clean, well stocked, and included lovely touches that made it feel like a home away from home. The views and the area were everything we hoped for, and our hosts were quick to respond and very kind. We would definitely stay there again.

So Lovely!

We stayed here while our soon was playing football in Dufur. It was so pleasant, clean, and quiet. Hosts were very accommodating. Would definitely stay again.

Absolutely terrific. The views, the beautiful garden, the chickens! Everything about this place was great. Especially the Hosts. We felt so welcome yet had complete privacy. Highly recommended!!

Our hosts were wonderful! They were easy to communicate with and had made the whole process as smooth as possible. Everything from the cleanliness to the hospitality was top notch. We will defenitly recomend staying here if you want to explore a different side of Oregon.

Pictures do not do this one justice!

Incredible property and helpful hosts. We are a group of besties/female cyclists (great gravel and road options from the location driveway is 9% and gravel!). Comfortable beds. Well appointed kitchen. Welcoming vibes galore! Lilac trees in full bloom, friendly chickens and a ginger kitty (none of these intrusive!). Amazing sunrises and sunsets. Don’t hesitate - book this one!! It’s a winner!!

AMAZING!!

I can't say enough good things about this property and it's hosts! Not only was the property exactly as described in the listing, it was better! Both the indoor and outdoor space was immaculately clean, completely comfortable, and I would 10/10 recommend it to anyone visiting the area! If I ever make it back that way I will absolutely stay at this wonderful rental again!

Amazing stay

Lisa and Shay were amazing! The house was beautiful and we had a lot of space, along with incredible views. On top of it all they went above and beyond any expectations as we ran into a very difficult situation and storm at the tail end of our stay. I highly recommend this home and host to anyone. The Best Ever!

Peaceful Beauty

Delightful two nights in this immaculate house. surrounded by rolling hills and quiet. Lisa and Shay are wonderful hosts and shared eggs, garden veggies, and kind connections with us. This is jewel of a getaway home. We will come back in different seasons to ride our bikes. Also, the nearby town of Dufur has the Azure grocery store with organic food and great coffee.

Exceeded Expectations!

Frankly, this had to be one of the best VRBOs we have stayed in. My wife and I were visiting my brother in The Dalles as part of a family reunion. His house was too full and the local Fairfield Inn (we are Marriott Bonvoy members) was very expensive. So we found this property just 15 minutes away up in the hills. The online photos and reviews were very good, but … wow… the property was incredible. The one bedroom apartment was extremely clean, well appointed with everything we could need. The hosts even had a bottle of local wine and fresh cherries waiting for us. This will be our go to place on future visits!

Complete recharge and relaxation. From the moment we arrived at this hidden oasis nestled in between the golden, rolling hills with a perfect view of Mount Hood, we knew it was going to be extra difficult to pack up and leave after our stay. Were greeted by a handful of easy going chickens in the fenced garden area. Then stepped into our VRBO apartment , that is actually more like a beautifully built, furnished, small house with gorgeous views of the hills and mountain. Lisa and Shay had thoughtful touches everywhere to include a bowl of local cherries, snacks, chocolates, and even gifted us a bottle of wine. Before our arrival, Shay was super quick to respond to any questions I had. And even at the last minute, setup an iron and iron board for us to use so we could prep for a wedding we were attending. Perfect driving distance for us to surrounding areas to include Hood River. Both beds, all pillows and linens were super comfy, and we loved having access to a grill to cook out. Couldn’t help but spend every morning outside to enjoy our coffee. Thank you Lisa and Shay! Can’t wait for a return trip hopefully soon!

Calm and peacefull getaway!
