"Friendly staff. Room was clean. The motel was a bit difficult to find, and a bit hard to get to it depending on the direction you're coming from. Breakfast was good. The exterior was clean. Despite appearing to be in a bad part of town, it's tucked away and did not feel unsafe at the property. It was not worth the price I paid, so because of the price, I have dropped the rating by a star but still a solid stay in Fredericksburg."

"I had made a reservation and there was only 1 person at the desk. She was on the phone for almost 10 minutes taking a reservation. At no time did she recognize me and she was very chatty with the caller. She should have put the caller on hold and told me she would be with me in a few minutes. To top it off the next morning, a bus was parked right outside the front door. I was unable to wheel my luggage out as he blocked the entire entrance. I asked him to move and he said he would but he was still there as I had to walk the long way around the bus and my luggage fell. I am handicapped. The person at the front desk ignored that the bus was blocking the walkway. I WILL NEVER STAY AT A HAMPTON INN AGAIN. HORRIBLE EXPERIENCE "

"Clean and large room and bathroom. Staff was very helpful with checking and out, recommending dining options and navigating the VRE into DC. "

"Nice clean room and perfect breakfast! The shower made horrible noises and sounded like pipes were about to burst. My daughter left something behind in the room and they did not help to find it. All in all it was a good place though."

"The property is very outdated and not somewhere I would choose to stay again. It feels worn, unkempt, and overall not well-maintained. I also didn’t feel it was the safest setup for children, being located right off a major highway with exterior room entrances. While the staff was friendly and accommodating during our late check-in, the overall condition of the property just wasn’t it."
