"The staff are very friendly and helpful, But the hotel it’s not a nice place to stay, For the price I paid. The room was very dilapidated, most of the lights next to the bed didn't work, neither did the lamp on the other side of the room. To fill the kettle with water you had to take the kettle and a cup into the bathroom and fill the cup and then fill the kettle, WiFi was none existent in the room as their server kept crashing so there wasn’t any WiFi, and this made the card machine crash totally so you were unable to pay for any thing, The food was over priced and very poor quality and very small portions. Plus there are quite a few homeless people staying at the hotel."

"An Ideal location for staying near to Oxford for our son's graduation. The weather was extremely hot and it was wonderful being able to open up the bi-fold doors to let in the breeze. Great to meet Kes the dog and the cat!"

"The perfect place for a family May Bank Holiday celebration get together during a heatwave. The property is beautiful and has everything you need including very comfortable beds and powerful showers. Having our own private garden with table and chairs and gas BBQ was ideal, as was the games room. The heated pool was amazing and it was easy to arrange our 2 hour slots with our very welcoming hosts Jane and Steve. We were lucky enough to be able to feed some lambs that they had rescued and spend time with the horses. Everyone enjoyed the frequent visits from Bear and Martha (the Rhodesian Ridgebacks - gentle giants). We would definitely recommend and would love to stay again. Mike"

"Rather tired property. Understaffed. On checking at 3pm there seems to be only one member of staff covering reception and the bar. We asked for some tea with cake or biscuits, and we were told we could only have tea because afternoon tea had to be booked 24hrs in advance. We were hoping to have atleast biscuits or cake but there were none. We were told that the chef leaves at 3pm. The hotel is isolated and there is no where nearer to get anything. We were group of 8 stayed at the hotel and were disappointed. No water bottle in the room either. Hotel is expensive for what you get. "
