"Wifi did not work. The code was wrong or not related to the system. TV was not cable but that horrible streaming where you cant get any normal network programming. Floors did not match. Kitchen light switch was hidden. No TP holder in bathroom. Shower faucet was falling off and hard to adjust. Building seemed to be coming apart. View was not very good despite the pictures. Driveway was rutted and poor condition as was the street in front. Really a terrible experience. We have photos. "

"This was our third stay at the Mountain Laurel Cabin, and it never disappoints. Tucked away in peaceful Brasstown, the cabin is cozy, spotless, and perfectly equipped with all you need in the woods. The private acre-sized pond is a dream for fishing or just soaking in the quiet. We love its proximity to the Folk School and scenic trails. A true hidden gem for nature lovers and anyone needing a recharge. We'll definitely be back!"

"We stayed a Thursday- Sunday. Kitchen 10 stars- there was everything you needed and more- stove gas and top of the line. The fire pit surrounded by ferns and bordered by a babbling creek was just what we needed. Placed the chairs in creek and watched the minnows and listened to the frogs. 1920s claw foot tub- icing on the cake. Out of all the places we’ve stayed this is our favorite. We will be back. "

"We loved our stay at this cabin. The first floor was completely wheelchair accessible, even onto the balcony, which was great for my step-father. The cabin was clean and well stocked with anything needed for cooking. The back yard is fenced in for fur babies. The location is very quiet and peaceful, and the view from the balcony is beautiful. We would definitely stay here again. "
