Great hotel across the street from the lake. Close to the famous airplane McDonald’s, but grocery stores are about a 10 min. walk away. Reception was kind enough to hold my luggage until my room was ready. I would happily stay here again!

Staff are lovely. Recommend requesting ground floor for accessibility or if travelling with children as there’s no elevator. Indoor pool/hot tub were great. Hotel is older but has free parking (small spaces/laneway but still fit our truck), washing machines/dryers (extra $), and well stocked full kitchen. Aircon in living room only and blackout curtains still let some light through (consider for baby naps, etc). Right on lake terrace and an easy 5min stroll into town. Would definitely stay here again, especially for Ironman.
