"nice rooms and friendly helpful staff"

"We arrived a little early for check-in and were warmly welcomed and told our room was ready for us. The room is what you'd expect from a motel in a small town, but comfortable and very clean. Ticked all of the boxes with a comfy bed, decent bathroom, coffee machine, TV with streaming channels, and ample storage. The chairs and table in the room and outside on the patio were a welcome addition as were the little chocolates left on the bed. Would be very comfortable for an extended stay."

"Fabulous place, decor, atmosphere, people! So glad we stayed here instead of Atherton. Quaint Norman Rockwell setting. Owner went out of their way to make our stay superb. Attention to detail in and out. Great recommendation s for area as well. "

"Only stayed one of two nights booked,mattress to soft wife had to sleep on the floor and had a lot of mosquito bites in the morning and we both had trouble sleeping. Personally we won’t go back again. Tim was friendly we asked for a radio or tv which he got and told us it was for guests anyway but you need to ask for.We left early in morning as we needed to find somewhere else to stay for our last night."

"Amazing isolated location within around 40 mins of local attractions. Beautiful scenery with not too much to do which is what we liked. Limited phone reception but that was a bonus! Bring your food and save eating out... great hosts and beautiful relaxing environment. Play cards, cook and dine and just RELAX. Top stay and hope to visit again soon!"

"This is an old farmhouse in a wildly overgrown garden, kind of charming but a bit of a rough diamond. The locality, recent rain and vegetation made the inside air musty but the house was clean and mould free. The owner was away but responded quickly to issues of an empty stove gas tank and lack of a fan in one bedroom. At first we drank the filtered tank water and while we had no bad effects, later chose to buy bottled water due to the condition of the filter and the tank that we saw when refilling the supply. A snake was seen on the driveway, a worry as the grass around the house had not been mowed recently, The kids loved the hens and collecting eggs. Tim said it was a work in progress - with the addition of window screens, better fans, a coffee plunger and sorting out the quality of the drinking water, it will be."
