"We we picked up from the airport for a price of 3500 pesos for the return journey . Public transport price 300 pesos ( we thought this was extortionate. Breakfast was pathetic if you asked for fruit you had 1 slice of mango 4 cubes of water melon and half a small banana.for 2 persons.coffee was ok. We ordered fish from the menu which was priced at 350 pesos . The bill was 500 which we questioned and was told it was a large fish , It was large and I left half and said I didn't order a large...

"Even though the beaches were closed after a recent typhoon, the stay at Astoria Palawan was still wonderful thanks to the clean rooms, great facilities, delicious food, and the exceptional hospitality of the staff especially Sir Vic, Sir Michael, Sir James, Chef Arturo, Susan, Roldan, John Dale and Ariel. "Staff have been amazing. I forgot his name but the van driver was very polite and very professional, soft spoken and well- mannered. JC on the front desk was always funny and very welcoming and helpful. To the maintenance guy that sorted our air-conditioning for 2 nights, bless him, he was very patient and very professional. To the girls in the restaurant, lovely smile in the morning to greet us for breakfast is a very nice experience. The guards by the main entrance are very polite and well mannered. We truly enjoyed our short stay 4D/3N. The staff running the place are exceptional, truly the face of Filipino world class hospitality. The location was amazing. So many good places to eat, our favourite being the Ka Lui Restaurant, it is similar to Subo of Boracay. We love Puerto Princesa and Best Western Plus-The Ivy Wall made it extra special. Thank you everyone."
