We booked the cottage for extra space and it was worth it (for the space). Restaurant and bar closed which was disappointing - no mention of this at time of booking. On a main road - very noisy at night. Cottage had a terrible sewerage smell. Don’t expect wifi to work in the cottage, it doesn’t and when you contact reception they sound “surprised, this hasn’t happened before”. Would be great to have laundry facilities. Has potential to be better.

Air conditioning does not work very well. Breakfast was very ordinary for the amount we paid. Everything was very dated. Would not stay again. And would not recommend to anyone.

Nice property. Housekeeping need to pay a little more attention to details and noisy bar fridge needs service/replacing. Friendly check in and room had everything needed for a night’s stay.

The manager was rude when I asked why he was photocopying my credit card, slammed it on the counter and said I “obviously don’t stay in hotels often”. Little does he know. He was so unprofessional during the time I was in the office. The hotel was clean and tidy but the under blanket was plastic and it felt like sleeping on bubble wrap! Won’t be staying here again.

I arrived in Tamworth off a early morning shift booked a room and noted I couldn’t check in until 2:00 pm arrived at the reception at 1:15 pm and receptionist was quite rude about the fact I should not book in until 2:00 pm , but he gave me a room. Because of my 04:00 am start on an early shift I was looking forward to banking some sleep hours during the day before my shift started the following afternoon , this didn’t happen as a contracted worker with a rattle gun or something similar to a jack hammer sound kept going outside my room until 4:30 pm , no sleep unfortunately , next day the works started again at 09:15 am my checkout time wasn’t until 10:00 am so I left for my shift early as I couldn’t put up with the noise

Very comfortable and convenient & just off main drag. Note Tamworth attractions are closed on Monday and the best place to eat is ''Deco''.
