We loved exploring the area... it was located on a quiet residential street, but still within walking distance of many good restaurants & shops. "Cosy and warm, friendly and helpful staff. Very clean room with what looked like a new shower room. The hotel itself is a bit older in style but perfectly fine for a pre-flight stop over or for playing golf locally. In fact it was only 5 mins from Royal Troon and about 15 mins from Dundonald links. Parking was easy and outside the front door - made carrying golf equipment easy! We were allowed to order in Just Eat which was convenient, but lots of restaurants in Troon."
