"This is the nicest property we’ve ever stay at - and that says a lot about this hotel. Staying here was an amazing experience. The room was beyond real. The restaurant was fantastic. And the staff superior, caring, efficient and so nice. We give special thanks to Ibtissam, the manager, Hamid and Iman. Everyone was kind and so nice."

"What a gorgeous hotel with amazingly helpful staff. The hotel itself has beautiful tile mosaics, wooden doors and ceilings and looks like a palace. And it’s comfortable - we had a large room with a great bed. Plus a good little frig. The plunge pool was a nice respite from the Fes heat. And the breakfast on the rooftop was delicious and bountiful. The owner and staff were so helpful, arranging transportation from the train station (definitely required for us - the old Medina is a maze). We had a wonderful stay. Highly recommend!"

"Room was clean and staff was very kind. The breakfast was great. They have a spa in the basement that you can schedule as well. They can also do your laundry for 10 MAD a shirt. Would stay here again"

"Ideally placed in the old city. Large accomodation on three floors with a nice terrace. AC and heating in every room.A large sitting room and nice size eating room. Beautiful view of Fez from the terrace. A recluse part of the Medina that doesn't always see the greatest attention to street cleaning, something one should accept in general for the benefits of sleeping in a historic and impeccably preserved old town. The excursion offered was nice and reasonable. Extremely courteous and attentive driver. Thank you."

"This place and room is so beautiful. We really enjoyed our stay. The staff were really helpful finding parking, riad location and with the bags. Food is excellent in the restaurant and recommended eating there. Highly recommended!!! Thanks to all the staff!"

"We stayed at Riad Layla (suite Alia) for three nights. The place is beautiful and within Fes Medina. Breakfast was served on the terrace which we quite enjoyed. Our room was spacious, well maintained, clean and beautifully decorated. Even the bathroom was very aesthetically pleasing. The suite is on the top floor so might not be convenient for some people but apart from that, everything was amazing. The staff were also incredibly nice! On our last day we had to depart at 6AM and one of the staff members very kindly and thoughtfully packed us breakfast! We ordered food through a delivery app and missed the driver’s call, he was kind enough to collect the food and bring it upstairs for us. All in all it was a very comfortable stay. Would recommend."
