Absolutely good choice, no regret

Absolutely good choice, no regret no matter software or hardware. Software Very good English, easy to communicate. Heater was pre-arranged, this is very touching after a long and freeze journey. I left my stuffs after checkout, the owner sent me message. When I back to Hostel, those stuffs at receiption. Hardware - The House Exactly as per the photos on website. Very clean and tidy. Feel like home.

Staff was very friendly and helpful. They gave us the best restaurant tip during our trip. The room was very confortable and clean. The shared facilities (bathrooms and showers) were also very clean. The place is charming as well as the staff.

Séjour idéal et à un prix très bas pour la qualité

Le propriétaire est très accueillant et professionnel. Il fut à l’écoute de nos demandes. Il nous a très bien conseillé à propos des activités à effectuer. L’emplacement était idéal et à quelques pas de la station de train et de supermarchés. Il y avait tout le nécessaire pour cuisiner. La chambre était spacieuse et confortable. Honnêtement, ce fut une des meilleures expériences!

Hostel Fish in a River would have to be the nicest hostel I have ever stayed in. Everything from the booking to checkout process went so smoothly, and the people who work there were really kind and helpful, and spoke great English. The room (private room 2 beds) was clean, comfortable, bright, and spacious, and looked out onto the green courtyard. The common area was exceptionally clean and well organised. The bathroom space was also really clean, both the toilets and the showers. The location is perfect, it’s in a quieter street less than 10 minutes on foot from Takayama station, and the host directed us to the nearest (and best) place to hire bicycles - something I definitely recommend doing! We were also given tips on the best sights and restaurants to visit. Upon check out we were given a little gift of origami and a sweet, which was a really nice touch. I can’t recommend this hostel enough to anyone staying in Takayama. We only stayed one night but would have been very comfortable here for longer.

很友善的民宿，傳統房子所以非常安靜，不太適合熱鬧聊天，乾淨！ 民宿真的在很安靜的巷子裡面，晚上回去路上不太有碰到人，如果女生一個人旅行可能晚歸比較會害怕

房間很舒適，只有三個房間，不會有出入份子複雜的感覺，而且每次經過門口都會馬上出來打招呼或詢問是否需要服務。對於附近景點的不同需求都能提出建議。雖然衛浴設備共用，但非常乾淨，值得推薦！

일본스러운 민박집^^

호텔도 좋지만 일본스러운 호스텔을 이용하는 것도 즐거운 추억이 될듯요. 방, 화장실, 샤워실등 모두 청결하고 따뜻합니다. 위치가 큰 도로가 아닌 골목길에 있어서 구글지도 검색하고 찾아가면 금방 찾으실듯요. 터미널과 걸어서 7~10분 거리에 위치해 있거든요.

완전 추천!!! 너무 좋아요

친구랑 1박했는데 주인분과 주인 아주머니께서 너무 친절하게 잘해주시고 시설도 깨끗했습니다! 2인실로 썼는데 아늑하고 좋았습니다. 화장실도 남녀 구분되고, 샤워실도 2개라서 좋아요. 일단 도미토리 포함해서 방이 3개라 붐비지도 않고 다카야마 역까지 걸어서 7분 정도 걸립니다. 주변도 조용하고 좋아요. 다카야마에 간다면 또 머물 의향이 있습니다!! 완전 강추!!
