Convenient and comfortable
This was a comfortable, conveniently-located hotel with nicely-sized private bathrooms, a good television selection and comfortable bed. It's centrally located and seems to be popular with younger travelers.

The staff and service is very nice. Excellent location, 5 min walk to Taichung train station. Also there’s a Ubike site within 3min walk. The room is clean, but much smaller than I expected (I reserve a large room with a king size bed). The bathroom is right next to the bed. I do like the setting of separating the sink from the bathroom though. This hotel is perfect for backpackers and travelers who just need a place to stay overnight.

Staff are exceptionally friendly and helpful. All staff can speak at least basic English. Located close to train and regional bus stations, as well as local bus stops. Guabao breakfast is very tasty. Rooms are of decent size with good amenities. Comfortable and convenient lounge area in the lobby with water and tea/coffee.

Very convenient location, just a block away from the Taichung train station and 17 mins drive away from the high speed rail (or you can just take the regular train from Taichung station). Lots of restaurants available near the hotel. Hotel is clean and up to date with laundry machine on the 8th floor. Only dryer costs ($10 NTD/20 min) and detergent is complimentary so it is a nice touch. The staff is very nice and friendly and can speak multiple languages so communication is easy. Breakfast comes with a voucher for Taiwanese burger downstairs which is tasty but way small.

Small Rooms, convenient location
The room is pretty small and there is no window, the windows are found in the toilet, which we have to open the blinds of the toilet so that natural light can come into the room. We thought we have booked the biggest room, but its only sufficient to open one luggage at a time. However, the location is very good, 5 mins walk to the TaiChung Train station. We are also near Taroko Mall (15 mins walk), and some famous eateries in Taichung (5-10mins to each attractions).

New comfortable hotel but breakfast is so-so
Quite a new hotel, situated just opposite the famous Miyahara. Though it's not near near those main touristy attraction places, but there are still decent number of things to shop and eat (eg, yizhong night market and second market). Breakfast provided by the hotel is very disappointing. They partner with a restaurant just beside the hotel to provide breakfast for guests. It's just a takeaway bun, which don't have the option to choose or dine-in. Definitely not something to rave about.

Location is good if you want to stay near the main station. The area itself is not the best but has some famous places for food nearby. I booked 2 rooms for my family. Both rooms were very small. The twin bedroom has two single beds but I don't know how 2 people can stay in the such a small area with suitcases. Lucky only 1 of us ended up using the twin room. But the room was small for one person. The toilet/bathroom is also very small with no shower curtain. The water goes everywhere. There isn't much place to hang your towels. The variety of amenity is good. They offer earplugs and even a condom. They also offer unlimited tea/coffee in the lobby. They offer free laundry but we didn't use it. If you are a light sleeper, you will definitely need the earplugs. At night, you will hear toilet toilet flush sounds (like it's happening right next to your ears), noise from outside and people upstairs moving. There are some staff speaks good enough English to communicate. Service is basic. If you need something in the room, you will need to go to lobby to pick things up. They won't really say hi or anything if you run into them. Breakfast is good to try once, mind you it's very sweet though. They shouldn't really call themselves a hotel, it's more like a hostel with private room options. Good for young travellers, but if you wouldn't normally choose to stay in a hostel, don't stay here. The best part for me was leaving this place. Won't be back at all.

Location is above average.
Walking distance to Yi Zhong Street Night Market and Zhong Hua Night Market, approximately 20-30 minutes. Room is superb comfortable, however space are limited.. Knock onto the chair edge a lot of times. Small bathroom space as well, but doesn’t matter since I don’t stay put in there other than showering time. Will come back again!

Pleasant brief stay
This was a cute hotel. Great location with lots to eat and see nearby. The room is a little cramped with the king size bed. I think a queen would've fit better in the room because we barely had room to walk by our bedside. Gets the job done for a night stay.

Nice Hotel Close to Several Transport Hub
The room and toilet is clean. And had a nice big TV too. It is close to the MRT station and tour bus point which connects to main tourism spot in Taichung.

Cute boutique budget hotel.
Located close to the central station, this budget hotel is a great point to explore Taichung from. The room was spacious and comfortable, plus it had a good size bathroom with a huge shower :). Wifi and air-conditioning worked just fine and made it a perfect place to unwind after a day out in town. Central District where the hotel is located offers great local eateries (including Market No. 2 and the delicious bao place on the hotel's ground floor). There are plenty of buses around (within 5 minutes walk from the hotel) which connect to West District which is the Taichung's heart of the action. Quick tip here: ALL buses are free once you get hold of the EasyCard, which is available form all 7/11 and FamilyMart shops.

Excellent space
This hotel room was very tiny, but they were very smart about how to best utilize the space, and was my favorite room during my stay in Taiwan. The way they placed the two beds gave roommates some privacy. It was also very clean and in an excellent location. I had no problems with their amenities. I also liked that the vanity was outside the bathroom so when you're brushing teeth or putting on makeup, you don't need to feel like you're hogging the bathroom!

Superb dorm with friendly staff
Stayed in this brand new and chic looking dorm for 2 nights in mid Sept 2016. The bed is very comfortable; it has very clean shared toilets and showers; it has very friendly staff who also give you clear direction to wherever you want to go; the location is convenient and safe even if you go back late at night. Highly recommend this dorm for budget travellers.

A stranger guy manage to open our hotel room door
Lack of assurance for their room and main door security. During my first night stay, a man has broken into our room by using his room key card. It's definitely not safe for girls to stay in the hotel that have such big security issue! The hotel management get back to us that they unable to track the identification of the guy and cannot report to the police as well. What they did is adjust the main door accessibility from 11pm to 9pm. Anyone that want to enter to the hotel after 9pm is required to use the hotel access card to enter. Not sure if the arrangement will help to solve the issue or prevent it to happen again. However, it's a tiring and scary night for us.

We sincerely apologize again for that situation. Here is our solutions to the security issue: 1. We have installed a sensor to the control panel of the elevator. Every user must swipe his room card to access the elevator. 2. We have set up a infrared sensor on the stairway between 2nd and 3rd floor so that we will be notified if anyone goes up without the elevator. Then our staff will check through our surveillance system. As the limitation of Taiwanese Fire Regulations, we cannot set a door between stairways. The above is what we have done to prevent this from happening again. We are truly sorry for that night. Hope you can visit us again and see these solutions personally.

Hotel staff are very friendly and helpful. They also offer transport service to Fengchia Night Market. Design is japanese inspired: compact, modern but wish they added a shower curtain to stop water splashing into the toilet area. Location is very near to Taichung Railway station (NOTE: DIFFERENT FROM TAICHUNG HSR STATION) and Bus Station so very convenient, but need jaywalk a couple of times through busy streets to reach. Overall, very good experience and good value for money.

기차역에서 도보이동 편리 편의점, 까르푸 가까워서 좋음 궁원안과 앞이라 걍 나가도 택시 잘 잡힘 펑지아 야시장에서 택시비 150원 고속철역까지 택시비 330원

非常差的旅店，別被‘照騙’騙了，高房價的房間，非常小的空間，浴室乾濕分離是做假的，沒有作用。ㄧ沖澡外面全濕。 辦理入住時，櫃檯不知道是哪一個省籍的大姐，非常不友善的態度，愛理不理，退房時離開下樓才發現，說好的早餐也沒有給… 更瞎的是房間隔音非常之差，根本想睡在大馬路，（所以備品裡有附耳塞很傻眼）一早會被太陽曬醒，防曬簾也是沒作用…真的是太雷的旅店了。 史上外宿旅店最差的經驗..（只怪自己沒有認真看評論就下訂）
