The hotel is in a great location. The rooms were really nice. The staff was great. There was construction in the lobby that was affecting being able to enjoy the lobby. I was charged for a full breakfast when the breakfast was not being offered to its fullest capacity due to construction. It made me feel like customer service was lacking and I never sought breakfast at the hotel again. Other than the construction issues and mediocre service during that time the hotel is lovely.

I can't say the staff were all super helpful. We arrived just after our check in time and the room wasn't ready, which wouldn't have been a huge issue if we hadn't planned on walking around the City before our event. They wouldn't initially take our luggage and we were made to wait. When we approached them again after 45mins they took our luggage and we could go out and wander. Shame they hadn't done that earlier. Otherwise the facilities and breakfast were good.

Everything about Hotel 1st class. Can recommend also to families. Beds great, buffet brekkie great. Staff great nothing a problem. Very central to everything with light rail close by. Great prices & rooms larger than normal with great large bathroom & deep bath.

This property located right near tram stop QVB Queen victoria building - that is a huge shopping area. This tram goes to circular quay and down to darking harbour, paddys markets so central. Centrepoint/sydney tower 3 minutes walk away and hyde park 5 minutes walking, along with the mall on george 1 block away

This is a great hotel that is smack bang in the middle of the city. Pitt St Mall is only a 30 second walk (it’s around the corner). Room is very clean and a very good size (we got two queen beds). Room service was fast and house cleaning was excellent. I went for work related purposes and only stayed for 3 nights so I didn’t get to use the facilities. The only thing negative is breakfast room service. The only thing on the menu was a cold breakfast or a hot breakfast PLUS the cold breakfast. There was no option to order the hot breakfast alone.

Have stayed at Swissotels in the past, long time customer. Not too impressed. Struggled with some of their policies which seemed like nonsense to me. We had 4 in our room but they seemed to have problems getting supplies for 4 consistently. Sofa sleeper very uncomfortable. Great location in the CBD close to the tram line. Great food in the area.

Nice property with very poor service. Front desk seems clueless. Doesn’t answer the phone, doesn’t deliver promised services as simple as a bucket of ice. Very frustrating. Not a great location compared to others closer to the action. Would NOT book again. I never write reviews , but I had to this time.

Shocking check in experience. Staff member was unhelpful, and couldn’t grasp that we had booked 3 different rooms. Not a great start. Other than that, hotel is fine.

This is the third time I have stayed at Swissotel Sydney and I would definitely stay there again on my next trip to Sydney. I am in my 70's and they were absolutely willing to help with anything I needed. Everyone is friendly you can have a joke with the staff. We prepaid breakfast and it was perfect. It is convenient to Shopping, Skytower and walking or catching the light rail to the Quay is no issue. Our room was cleaned each day. Can't fault a single thing. Sally

They don’t care if you can’t check in on time. Very blaze about it so after traveling for 28
Hours all 6 of us had to wait an hour past the check in time. They didn’t care. Then when we got our room
Which was the most expensive, it had hair all over the bathroom and the drain in the shower looked like it had never been cleaned! So disgusting. The staff don’t know things they should… will never stay there again. Very poor service

The room was not very clean and smells not good. During our stay of 4 days, there were some problems of lifts, it was not solved during my whole stay. Short staffs caused too long queue for check-in/out. Only location was very nice.

Good not great
Good location but unfortunately 2 of 3 lifts were out of order leaving lineups to get to your floor. The pool was busy, busy and it tooksome time for them to bring towels, plus they had no one to pick up everyone's cans and glasses left on the small deck. I was going to go clean it up myself as I think they could have used the help. That said the room was good. So it was a good stay, just not great.

Need to fix lifts
Great location but few things not flash - 3 lifts but all with issues. We were often whisked away to the service lifts after long waits but they weren’t much better.
Room itself was smaller than the one pictured which we overheard another person making a complaint about.
Breakfast was great though.
