I called the hotel asked if we could check in earlier. The Manager (Donna I think her name was... I'm hopeless with names) was very accomodating & checked to see if the room was ready, which it was.
The Manager checked me in & took me to our room showed me around. She was very friendly. & informative.
I like that it had a courtyard & but we didn't get to use it, 'cos it was raining.
It has a nice big bathroom for a hotel & roomy shower.
It was probably the quietest pub hotel that we stayed & which was a pleasant surprise.
Parking was directly in front, very convenient.
All is well except there was another guest that kept smoking in front of the entrance so we reeked of cigarettes when entering & exiting the room. Even the foyer stinks of smoke, which is a bit unfortunate but not the hotel's fault, just our bad luck.
For what you pay it's pretty good overall & would stay again. Definitely recommend of you looking for an afforable family room with plenty of parking & quiet location. I think the place only has 8 rooms.
