Recently renovated and set in a large old Blue Mountains landmark property on one acre of gardens in Wentworth Falls, this apartment offers a stunning vista over southside Wentworth Falls and backs directly onto the Charles Darwin reserve and walk, yet is also only a leisurely 10 minute walk to the local village.
This is a fully separated apartment, spread out over 75sq m, including a bespoke, private 15sq m verandah to enjoy the vista. It`s a very liveable space with its full size kitchen ( incl full laundry ), bathroom and living area. It’s also wonderfully warm with a large split system aircon and lots of natural light.
With views from every window you will feel a world away, and set in a building that is large enough to guarantee a high level of privacy, it’s a genuine retreat without the resort level price tag.
Being really close to everything of relevance in the wonderful Blue Mountains district ( its only 2 mins drive off the highway ), means it is easy to access and enjoy the many walks, cafes and restaurants nearby and makes for a great base for explorations further afield. The nearby bush walks in Wentworth Falls really are among the most spectacular in the mountains and the Charles Darwin Walk can be directly accessed from the backyard of this property ( this walk is now half open after many years of repairs )
Fully equipped and totally self-catering with a self check-in procedure, everything is in place for a great home away from home experience or as many guests have used already, a great during the week work environment as well. Private off street parking & good WiFi.
This apartment is located on the same property as the also listed Suenaga Suite and Haiku Hut in case you want to sync up your stay with another couple/s or friends.

( Please Note: there are some building works happening in an adjacent property nearby starting from September 2023 as a new dwelling gets constructed which takes place Mon-Fri until further notice. So far this has had minimal impact on guests staying at the property with most of the noisy work having been done already ). *Updated 1/1/2024

My partner and I were enamoured as soon as we pulled into the driveway. The location is stunning! The accommodation is so well pieced together with everything that anyone may need for a revitalising getaway. The Oramgi Apartment is very conveniently situated in the mountains, everything that we needed and wanted was easily accessible. The views were peaceful. The inside was warm and welcoming. The furniture all comfortable enough to melt into. Our comminucation with the host was well recieved and clear, and we were prepared with everything we needed for a hassle free holiday. We greatly appreciated the manuals and helpful local hints! Thanks for the great stay.

Host was amazing and had clear instructions. The property was beautiful. It had a lot of art and displays which was cool. The place was very clean. The bathtub was very big and nice. Lots of hot water. The bathroom has those light heaters. They even provide a hairdryer. The kitchen was large and had everything you'd want. The bed was comfortable rated around 8.5/10 in firmness so firm but still fine. I prefer it firmer than softer. Comfortable couch with an ottomon type thing to put up your legs. They have a verandah that goes out from the kitchen overlooking the nice greenery nature. It's beautiful. I would recommend this place. Quiet comfortable clean.

Walking into Luke’s property is a little like walking into the past. It’s filled with very vintage furnishings mixed with Japanese decorative touches thru out including the deep bath to soak in. Worked wonders for me after my hiking in the mountains. Beautiful view to look out at sitting in the Kitchen. Overall a lovely cabin style apartment with all of the creature comforts needed to feel at home

Stay with a view
This was our second stay at Lukes. We stayed three nights at the start of our trip to Australia in the Suenaga suite and because it was such an amazing experience we came back at the end of our trip for another three nights, this time in the Origami apartment. The apartment was as wonderful as the first one but with the added bonus of a deck with an amazing view. Lukes is the place to stay if you want to explore the blue mountains but return afterwards to a peaceful accommodation where you can chill and rest up for the next day. Highly recommended!

Place was incredible. The more you absorbed it, the more you realise this is a labour of love for the owners. The decor is fascinating and the views are spectacular. Definitely would love to return at some point in the future. For once, this is a property where the pictures on the listing are a true reflection of the property

Lovely place about 2 minutes off the main road through the mountains. Clean and spacious, and the a/c worked a treat on a weekend nearing 40 degrees. Wouldn’t hesitate to stay there again. Highly recommended.

Absolutely gorgeous space! Honestly, the photos almost don't do it justice. I was a little worried about staying in a place connected to a home but it was lovely and private - had no issues. Would definitely come back again if I'm ever in the Blue Mountains.
