Beautiful house in a gorgeous area. We were welcomed with thoughtful breakfast provisions and a fresh apple pie. The kids loved running around the house and surrounds. It have everything we need. Wish we could stay longer.
We stayed at Huntington Lodge for a week over Christmas. It was a wonderful property with beautiful lush vistas of nature from every room of the house, great facilities, private, peaceful and calm. Feeding and viewing the colourful birds daily was delightful. The hosts are very generous with lovely thoughtful treats left for us. Close to nearby attractions.
I stayed at Huntington Lodge with four friends. We had plans to walk, go for drives and get out and about. Instead we curled up on the couches, ate food, had the wood fire going, relaxed and talked. The accommodation was perfect from feeding the birds, walking around the gardens and sitting on the front and side verandahs to the luxurious bedrooms and living areas.
Everything we could think of was provided and quite a few unexpected treats as well. Interaction with the host was easy and prompt. I would definitely stay again. It is a truly beautiful property. It would be lovely to see it in different seasons.

The most impressive thing about this property was that every detail had been thought of and then some. We had three generations staying ranging from 13 years to 83 years and everyone's needs were catered for. The lack of wifi/signal was a bit of an inconvenience but overall it meant the teenagers spent more time with us so that was a bonus.
Would highly recommend to anyone looking for a home away from home with more than the the usual creature comforts.
thanks Ruth and John for a great stay.
We spent a lovely 4 nights in Oct 2020 at the extremely well-equipped Huntington Lodge. This 3-bedroom self-contained house is close to the Botanic Gardens and has all the creature comforts including well-appointed kitchen, laundry, modern bathroom (plus extra toilet), and comfortable lounge/TV room with a great range of DVDs. The owners provided bread, milk, tea, coffee (pods and grounds), breakfast cereals, chocolates, OJ, bacon, eggs and mini sausages, plus a locally-made apple pie and dollop cream! The premises are impeccably clean. We could not
fault it. Our visit coincided with the emergence of a bumper crop of cicadas in the region - they were deafening outdoors (approx 90dB!), but just want assure any potential visitors to this lovely property that it is very quiet indoors! The home is well insulated. It also has a fabulous combustion wood fire place and airconditioning throughout. We hope to return again :-)
Beautiful stylish property with all details attended to perfectly

Lovely, cosy & well maintained - will definitely book again
Booked this property with a few friends to attend a wedding at Berambing which was only 5 minutes drive away so it was perfect. I have high expectations and usually don't expect much as i've been to properties that didn't provide the essential amenities. However Huntington Lodge met my expectations and I was blown away by the thoughtfulness of the host and how it included everything we required, just like or even better than home! Beautiful, clean, comfortable and well maintained furnished house that I couldn't ask for more! Host was friendly and made us feel very welcomed by being approchable and efficient in responding to queries, thank you for an amazing experience. I will definitely visit again and recommend to friends and family!

Beautiful, comfortable and picturesque - a slice of Heaven on Earth.
From the moment we drove through the front gates and set our eyes on the view before us we knew we were in for a wonderful couple of days - and we weren't disappointed. Our friends who left the booking to us were totally blown away with the whole experience. The photos on the website don't do it enough justice, as they don't take in the beautiful fragrances and sound from the bird life, not to mention the fresh mountain air and the taste of the natural spring water. The gardens were nothing short of stunning. We could only imagine that Heaven would look and feel like this place. It was so nice sitting outside with our wine and cheese as the sun went down. The cosy fireplace, the comfortable furnishings and super comfortable beds made us all really relax and unwind. There was plenty to keep us entertained as well. The house had everything and more than we needed. Definitely will be coming back and would recommend Huntington Lodge without a moments hesitation. Our hosts went over and above our expectations and they were friendly and efficient.....and the personal touches made us feel welcome and at home. Anthony and Rachael
