Summary: You will not find a better Sydney CBD location than here! Situated in a historic building on the corner of Bond and George St, you are moments away from the best Sydney's CBD has to offer. With Circular Quay only moments away, you have the entire CBD at your doorstep. The apartment itself is spacious and spotless with a Queen Bedroom and a step down to the living room/kitchen area creating space and privacy. You will have access to a fully equipped kitchen, with a modern bathroom and a small balcony.
The Space: Incredibly quiet on the 7th floor at the back of the building overlooking a historic laneway. The apartment has been recently renovated and updated and we have new furniture throughout with updated fixtures and fittings also. The building has lift access and a gym on the top floor with full laundry facilities inside the apartment. The world famous Harbour, Opera House and historic Rocks district are only moments away by foot and there is a Light Rail station directly across from the entrance, making travelling around Sydney incredibly easy.

The apartment had everything we needed for our short stay in Sydney. Having the in suite washer and dryer was a dream after traveling the 2 weeks prior. The listing is very accurate. The location was perfect. We did not have a car and easily got to everywhere we needed. I highly recommend and would definitely stay again!

Pluses and minuses
I suppose all rentals have their pluses and minuses. Check-in and check-out require the renter to go to an alley about a block from the building entrance, unlock a metal box, and collect the keys. This process can feel a bit daunting if you are, say, arriving at night or leaving early in the morning, and you have luggage to manage. Another minus: tiny bathroom, with intermittent hot water. A plus: convenient location if you wish to be near the beautiful Sydney harbor area, the Circular Quay, and th Rocks. A minus: neither taxis nor Ubers can get within 200 yards of the building's entrance. A minus: the view out the only windows is a red brick wall. Rating: 7.25
The property was quiet, relaxing and spacious, and we found the bed to be very comfortable. Its location is excellent as the light rail is just outside the door taking you to Circular Quay in one direction and the QVB in the other along George Street while its location is central for exploring Sydney. There are several supermarkets and convenience stores nearby which made shopping for some food items quite easy. The owner promptly responded to a couple of queries we had which we really appreciated. We look forward to returning in the future.

Very dark and dingy room, staff at the hotel were not helpful at all, no utensils in the apartment. Key card was snapped in half and sellotaped together, meaning it didn’t work well at all and we were stuck for hours not been able to use the lift. We emailed the owner (we did not have a number to call). We explained everything to her and never heard back at all. Very rude. The room itself was nice, but everything else was appalling. The biggest disappointment been the owners communication, or lack of. She was happy to leave an elderly couple in distress, even after they had communicated their issues with the broken key card very clearly. Would not stay there again.

Our stay in Sydney was Feb 9-21. Excellent location. Jules was helpful when we first arrived allowing us to gain access earlier than posted. We gained access to a lock box in an alley adjacent to the building. Had we arrived in the evening it would have been extremely difficult to locate the right box, along with concerns about personal safety being in a dark dimly lit alley, especially if you’re unfamiliar with the city. Once established in the suite we noticed the bathroom faucet wasn’t attached to the counter properly (photo taken). We contacted Jules about this indicating when we would be away so this minor repair could be done, but didn’t receive a response. We also asked about the schedule for towel and bed sheet changes, given our stay of 12 days. Jules indicated that during guest stays, the towels and bedding aren’t changed. We washed the towels with the washer & dryer provided, but didn’t do the bedding because we weren’t sure the dryer would sufficiently dry them, and didn’t want to repeatedly run the dryer to ensure the sheets would be dry enough to go back on the mattress.
Other things we discovered were as follows:
Shower temperature controls were reversed.
Some power outlets in the kitchen and next to the bed weren’t working.
Generally cleaning was lacking (photos taken)
The mattress should also be replaced.
If these issues are addressed, I would highly recommend and rate the accommodations higher, but only if the upkeep and house keeping improves.
