Short stay for musical event
The cottage was full of eclectic curiosities. It had everything I needed and more. Lack of TV was addressed by using my iPad. Not suitable for people with mobility issues.

Artist’s cottage is what it says
The house is in a reasonably convenient location, especially if you like craft beer! It’s quaint, clean and tidy, though we didn’t really make use of any of the things in it - piano, games, etc. Some of the books were interesting, but for me, I think I’d like a tv, just in case I want to watch something - and a little less clutter. Personally, I need simplicity more than stuff.

Great vibes and location
Nice, clean and good vibes. Spectacular location with only short walk to main street of Katoomba. However, property manager never replied to any messages or queries.

Great location
The parking was easy and I left the car there as I could easily walk into the main township of Katoomba. Close to shops and restaurants. Bed was comfortable. The shower was great. No TV, but lots of piano music was available to play. The heating was great as it was really cold outside even though it was summer.

The back garden was not accessible due to buliding work being carried out. Builders equipment stored inside the house. The house was dirty, floors dusty, old planter pots with dead plants or just dried soil in them.furniture covered in blankets hid the ripped and torn furniture upholstery,rubbish left laying around the house and included in the cost of our stay was a cleaning fee? The bathtub/shower was black with mold, the bath mat was damp on arrival….. the house was warm with the gas heater, but electrical cords ran under rugs, light fitting with bulbs missing, cobwebs everywhere, this house is quirky yes, interesting yes, close to walk to town yes but not holiday rental standard. It might have been more acceptable if it were a friend inviting us to stay but not for the price we paid.The owner did not notify us in advance that construction work was being done. Communication was poor.
