The only issue was that the towels had a strong unpleasant smell, so we ended up buying our own. Aside from that, everything else was great. Would definitely stay again."

Watia-Creekside Retreat didn’t just give us a place to stay; it gave our family a week of pure, unplugged magic. From the moment we pulled in, the sound of the rushing water acted as an immediate reset button for our stress.The heart of our experience was the creek. Our kids spent hours lost in their own world, scouring the rocks for salamanders and crayfish. Seeing them trade screens for the creek bed was worth the trip alone. While they explored, we found our own slice of heaven by the rock fire pit at the water’s edge. There is nothing quite like getting lost in a good book with a crackling wood fire on one side and the steady rhythm of the stream on the other.We were lucky enough to enjoy the Hot Tub and outside fireplace with the a Full Moon...simply majestic. Logistically, it’s a breeze. Unlike many mountain stays, the roads are easily accessible with no 4WD required, yet the "Quietude" makes you feel miles from civilization. We left feeling completely rejuvenated and, frankly, a little spoiled. It has ruined all other rentals for us. If you want a place where nature meets five-star luxury, book this now. We’re already counting the days until we can return again."

"We did enjoy the property a lot. Views are really impressive. Loved the screened deck with all the chairs, then you go through to the huge open deck that has picnic table and hot tub! We used the hot tub several times! Be sure to bring some extra large towels. Really big bonus is the very cute fenced in yard! What a treat to go out to deck with the dogs and not have to leash walk them around in my pjs early in the morning! Dogs really enjoyed the freedom and the spaces inside the house gave my 80# gal plenty of room to spread out. Most days I was up and could see sunrise on one side over the trees and a beautiful sunset from the deck. Bedroom was comfy and linens were nice. Overhead fans in each room kept a nice airflow throughout. The drive up to cabin is paved but it is steep and has a few sharp curves. Also one lane. Our old van made it but I didn’t want to push it with multiple trips up and down drive. If it was snowy or icy our van probably wouldn’t have worked. We would still return though to enjoy the area. Bryson City is a wonderful small town, great food! Only 8 miles away. This property is very convenient to many sights and wonders of the area. In an aside be sure to bring toiletries; shampoo, bar soaps, toilet paper as these are not fully supplied. Walgreens close by and a grocery store for anything needed. Basics - kitchen well stocked, easy to cook own meals.If you’re wanting to watch tv it is pretty large and has excellent WiFi with all the extras"

"Room was immaculate, the hot tub was clean and hot enough. Host constantly text to make sure everything was okay and our stay was good. Overall this was a birthday get away for my wife and was most enjoyable for the both of us. We will be returning there for another getaway. "

"This is a great house with lots of room, but you still feel connected to each other. My sons, ages 12 and 9, loved the downstairs hang areas. We had family air hockey tournaments and family movie night down there too. Because the kids had their own place to be, my husband and I got to enjoy the peace of the upstairs and the view. The kitchen is very spacious and user friendly too!"
