The bed and the outdoor view of the mountains were the only things that were satisfying. Deception of cabin quality was ridiculous. Way overpriced ,staff was courteous, check in was easy. Made birthday getaway a bit sad. Hope they improve true description of historic cabin.

This was a nice getaway for me and my wife. So clean and cozy. Feel like we found a hidden gem! The staff went above and beyond. It was my wife Birthday and they put flowers in our room for her! Something they don’t mention that was amazing view if you walk to the top of the hill near cabin 23. The view was breath taking. Also the pool was perfect!! We will stay here again for sure!!

6 mins from NOC where we were going White water rafting. There are no elevators and all rooms are on second floor so you have to be able to navigate stairs. We got there later than planned and directions for late check in were clear and easy! They texted us later to make sure we fot in ok

This is the third time we have stayed here in the past 5 years as it is very convenient to the Nantahala river for white water rafting. It has always been a bit dated , but since our last visit they have been updating the property. Things are looking much nicer and more comfortable. The staff is always very nice. Would definitely stay here again in the future.

Overall the hotel was a very nice hotel. The hotel is being renovating but the room that we had was already completed. The room was clean. The only issues we had was that the water would come out of the faucet blue, but it’s because of the old copper pipes. After you ran the shower for a little while the water would be clear. The hotel had free sausage biscuits and coffee which was very good. Overall, we had a very nice stay and we would stay here again.
