"Me and my partner had a one night stay here. I found the check in and check out process quite easy. We chose a room option that came with both kaiseki and a private outdoor bath. We both LOVED how relaxing it was to lounge in the outdoor bath, and while we are in a position to have Mt. Fuji views, we were not fortunate enough to experience it due to the cloudy/overcast weather. As nice as it was to experience the kaiseki, it was just OK. Our room was very spacious and I loved the addition of the kotatsu. I do want to note a disclaimer that there tend to be lots of mosquitoes during the fall, so I would definitely bring repellent of some kind if you intend to stay during the fall months. Overall, we both thoroughly enjoyed our night stay here."

"It was a peaceful stay. Check-in/check-out is done by tablet and was easy to understand. It was nice having a microwave in the room. I thought it would be scary to have a room open right to the outdoors, but it was convenient for coming and going quickly. There are snacks available, and the rooftop terrace is nice (beware of bugs like mosquitoes, though). The bed was comfortable. The TV is one of those with Netflix, Abema, YouTube, but no regular TV stations...? I couldn't find any regular channels. I didn't mind that, myself. The shower water temperature and pressure were good. The bathroom sink was a bit clogged... But other than that, I have no complaints."

"Staff was wonderful! Hung and the other young lady whose name I don’t remember, were so pleasant and friendly and helpful. The amenities are pretty minimalist and the location is not attractive or convenient to anywhere in the area. I don’t recall other prices in the area, so maybe it’s just an expensive area, but I felt it was overpriced for what it is. Thank goodness the staff is so welcoming and wonderful."

"This was the third hotel we had stayed in on the first leg of our Japan trip. First, check-in was very simple and the staff was courteous. Second, the room was surprisingly large and everything was clean and fresh. Third, the best part of the room was there was two twin beds and they were very comfortable. I don't understand why Japan hotels have ridiculously hard beds and pillows; very poor sleep. At the previous hotel I had to purchase a new and very nice pillow that I used for the rest of the trip. My wife and I slept very well. Our son/wife were in another room and they also experienced a nice sleep. Fourth, the shower was so great. I wish America had shower stalls like that. Fifth, the hotel provided coffee, tea, hot miso soup packs, cellphone cords for every type and a very nice comfortable lounge on the first floor. No breakfast but restaurants close by. Sixth; The hotel had individual packs of coffee bags (red and blue) and a hot water station on the floor and a kettle in the room. By far the best tasting coffee in Japan. My apologies but I raided the coffee and stashed in my bag. My wife and I enjoyed that coffee at the other 4 hotels we stayed. None of them had good coffee. Seventh, It poured rain on our second day but the hotel had complimentary umbrellas. Nice :) Eighth, The hotel is next door to the train station but you can't hear any noise. Ninth, did I mention that the bed was extremely comfortable and the coffee was oishii. Tenth, will go back again"
