"What a beautiful, restful apartment- much more spacious than the photos show. Outlook to the water in one direction and gorgeous greenery with cute bach’s in the other direction. Very comfortable beds, everything you could wish for. The shops, bus stop and excellent cafe (Bisou) is just down the road. Thank you very much. "

"I had a wonderful stay at this charming classic bach in Surfdale. The bed was extremely comfortable, and the peaceful setting offered stunning views across the beach toward Auckland. There’s a fantastic takeaway coffee spot at the end of the path beside the house, and the local shops are less than a minute away. I would definitely stay here again."

"Our family (2 adults and a 6 year old) stayed here for three nights and it was great!!! It's small (it is a renovated world war 2 hut) but cute. The clear and beautiful view of the bay was amazing!"

"It was really disappointing given the glowing reviews and pictures. We were really excited given its marketed as a romantic spot and ideal for honeymooners - super underwhelming. Place seemed dated and crockery needed a good clean. The kitchen drawers smelt stale and it was difficult to wash up as there was no draining board and the sponge and scrubbing brush under the sink was used. The drain in the shower was broken and raised out of the hole everytime it was used. The display pillows on the bed also had an old smell and were definitely not washed "
