It was a family weekend gate away, we booked 4 rooms. One of them smells really bad ( cigarettes even though it was non smoking) when we walked in. The staff was very helpful!! Over to change the room, and She even opened another rooms and have us check make sure we’re happy. She did agree that the room did smell. Thank you for taking the time to care for your guests! My daughter was impressed!

Comfortable Hotel

Swiss Belhotel is a well-known Hotel Group, we were staying for 2 nights. The Room is comfortable, clean, and spacious enough. Breakfast is delicious and tasty. Besides providing American breakfast there are also many traditional foods. Overall it was nice to stay in this hotel.

Surakarta is a wonderful city but here are better hotels. Hotel beds are wonderfully comfortable but the atmosphere control is poor and service could be more gracious and better informed. The architecture is not functional and the building has high heat load on the face. The AC can't cope in some rooms and in general the communal areas are not well air conditioned and too hot. The manager gave us a room upgrade when it was clear our room couldn't be cooled below 25 degrees centigrade. Breakfast is excellent but filter coffee is poor. Overall Swiss hotels need to spend more on their architecture - nice interior design doesnt address functional limitations of the build. The swiss belhotel rewards program isn't well advertised - despite having adverts on every menu the majority of staff aren't able to explain the conditions clearly.

The loud air conditioning systems and sound insulation of the room are terrible in the hotel room (due to no carpet in the hotel room) and upstairs of my unit repeatedly drags the chair and runs and jumps all day long in the room. Can't rest and sleep well during stay.

Kecewa karena kamar berbau kurang enak seperti bekas pakai orang yg berkeringat, sarung bantal juga seperti bekas pakai karena bau, air shower sangat lemah tekanan air nya, kejernihan air kolam kurang sehingga jarak pandang pendek, rasa makanan saat breakfast biasa saja, saat check in WAJIB memberikan uang jaminan untuk kunci kartu, minta tambah air minum meskipun hanya 1 botol WAJIB BAYAR. PARAH!!!
