Flashpackers was an unexpected find. The proximity to the action in Noosa was handy and it allowed me to better explore a side I'd overlooked before. It was far enough removed to allow for some rest too- heck, I even had the room to myself for the last night! Likee the laundry around the back and the clothesline. Also the clean and orderly fridges in the kitchen area. Clean clothes and food either make or break a trip away, I find. The seated area just near that was cosy too- I do like a bit of solitude! Some hostel kitchen areas can be a bit manky. Not Flashpackers though, for the most part. Sure, common etiquette wasn't always strictly observed, but that's a given.It wasn't hard to restore some cleanliness, if you get my drift. The various activities organised for backpackers too (Bingo, meals etc.) were great mediums for getting to know fellow travellers. Was nice to be able to mingle with people and hear their stories. It was remarkable how the conversation just ebbed and flowed. And what an interesting bunch! Gals from Spain, Germany, Holland, Edinborough & Byron Bay; fellows from the UK, Brisbane & Argentina! This was just after my visit to Sydney too where at the YHA I bunked with three chaps from Japan, India & Thailand respectively. So whilst it didn't pan out quite the way I'd anticipated I am still delighted in hindsight. I won't be no stranger!

Friendly and helpful staff. Clean facilities. Great vibe and something on every day to join in, if you want to. I stayed in the double room with my own bathroom. It was very quiet despite how busy the hostel was.

Simply the best!

So far one of the best hostels in Australia! Staff are amazing, cleanest hostel I’ve been to here, and their events are all great. The free shuttle is appreciated. Beds are very comfy and there was a light, outlet, and shelf by the bed! The holy trinity of hostel amenities. And free breakfast. I don’t know what else a backpacker could ask for!

The staff were all fantastic, friendly and helpful in informing me about tours in the area. The location was slightly away from the main area of Noosa Heads but close to Sunshine Beach.

Great Place to stay in Noosa

Great hostel. We had a very comfortable double room that was private. Great facilities, location and brilliant staff. The shuttle bus is a really helpful bonus that runs regularly. Would recommend staying here.

High quality private room in hostel atmosphere

Private room was very comfortable with it's own AC unit, great towels, and nice waterfall shower looking out onto a private outdoor area. I arrive late, a few minutes past 9pm, which is when their reception closed and I wasn't able to get their calls telling me the key was in the dropbox. It looked like a nice kitchen where you can store your food and lots of hang out room. The hostel is located a bit further away from.the center of Noosa, but Uber is everywhere. Most restaurants close at 10pm and there isn't a ton around the hostel. It was well known for my tour and there were many other tour brochures available at reception. Great for a overnight before my tour and probably a good base to go onto other areas.

I'd stay again

It's a little bit of a walk, but a nice walk, out of smcity center. They do have shuttle busses if the walk is to much for you. The place is tight but very well out together.
