"We had a great stay overall. The hotel was clean, comfortable, and the staff was friendly and helpful. The location and amenities made for an enjoyable experience.
One suggestion would be to add a playground for children, which would make the property even more family-friendly. It would also be great to see the hot tub brought back, as that would be a wonderful amenity for guests to relax and enjoy after a day of exploring Alaska.
Overall, a very positive experience, and we would gladly stay here again."
"The views are spectacular, and the weather was wonderful. The property is beautiful and well maintained. The staff were friendly and made some great suggestions on places to eat and sight see. Parking isn't always available up by the property, so take a rain coat for the walk to the property, if you choose not to pay for valet parking. The tram is a lot of fun up the mountain, and the Bore Tide Deli & Bar served good food up there as well. They have a neat little gift shop up there. I wouldn't recommend the Asian dining experience at the hotel. Those making the food were not very sanitary. They wiped their hands on old aprons, touched pens, receipts, their glasses and face, then made the sushi and dishes without gloves or without washing their hands. The beds are not that comfortable. The temperature in the room is not adjustable, which can be a little frustrating, but overall it was a good experience. A little ways down from the property they have a nice ice cream shop, and a gift shop called the Tourist Trap."
"Everything was great but there was a little bit of dog duty to watch out for. Otherwise great. Very accommodating host and a short walk to creekbend. Thank you. We would love to book again"
Centrally Located Private Awesome View Custom Chalet. Bonus Hot Tub
10/10 Excellent
"Our family thoroughly enjoyed our stay here. The chalet is so cozy and has everything you need. The view is absolutely unbeatable! Plus, the hosts were incredibly thoughtful and communication was seamless. We were lucky enough to see the Northern Lights during our trip, and watching them from the hot tub is a core memory. "
"Cabin - Extremely small. No wifi, no tv, no dresser or closet. When I closed the door, the door 's window curtain fell because the nail holding one end came out. I do not recommend this accommodation."
"Our stay was perfect! The setting was lovely against the mountains. There was a walking path decorated with delightful sculptures around the property. Our room was large and tastefully decorated. The owners were very personable. Breakfast was on time and tasty. I would definitely recommend this place. "
