Absolutely had a blast! This place is tucked perfectly to where you are around 40 minutes from Key West and 40 minutes from Marathon.The place was clean, the owner was helpful to answer questions in a timely manner and it was just a cozy little spot. We have stayed in the Venture out parks before with no complaints and I have no complaints for our stay here! There is a 125 amenity fee required upon arrival, but all in all, everything is well taken care of and I was informed of it prior to arriving. We had use of the golf cart, there was a fishing pole we borrowed in the closet (and we bought one that we left for others to use since we were flying back).There were also sand toys and things for you to use on the beach, which I highly recommend Sombrero Beach especially if you have children. There is a full on play ground there as well as a beautiful beach! It was an awesome experience and I would definitely recommend staying here. We loved dining out at Tonio’s, the Morning Joint and Boondocks which were close to the place, highly recommend these places!

Served our needs

We just needed a place to sleep for a few days while visiting friends on Big Pine. The house had what we needed. The home and furnishings were quite dated with some rust stains on the air vents and in the bath but if you're not picky about that, then this is a great place. The main areas were clean, although there was dirt and dust behind the night stands (needed to access the outlet so had to look there). We didn't use any of the amenities but still had to pay 130 extra when we checked in at the guard house which is apparently required for all rentals in this community. Overall, this house met all our needs.
