Cozy Country Cabin - Sleeps 6 - with Hot Tub

REST, RELAX, and RETREAT! This cozy cabin offers a rustic setting and a comfortable atmosphere, making it perfect for those seeking a peaceful escape from the hustle and bustle of city life. The fully equipped kitchen provides all the amenities to prepare delicious home-cooked meals. Step outside onto the patio to enjoy the sunset while soaking in the hot tub. This cabin is perfect for a restful and rejuvenating getaway in the countryside, such as a honeymoon or a couples' weekend away.

This newly built cabin, with dormer windows on both sides, to let in the natural lighting, and its open floor plan, creates the perfect space to relax and connect with nature.

Sit on the front porch with a morning cup of coffee while watching the sunrise and end the day on the back patio watching the sunset from the hot tub. Watch birds, deer, and other wildlife that come out on the prairie to eat and drink.

There's plenty of space outside to play games or fish in the pond.

Guests have the entire space surrounding the cabin to themselves. The owners live on the property in the main house beyond the trees and there is a cottage across the driveway that may also have guests. Please respect their privacy and stay out of their yard areas. You are welcome to fish in the pond or walk around it etc.

If you bring pets, please clean up after them.

We live on the property and will gladly assist you if you need help or have questions. Since you check yourself in upon arrival and let yourself out when you leave, you may never even see us during your stay. We stay out of the way to give you all the privacy you need or want but are here should you need anything.

Chase, our friendly Golden Retriever is our official greeter. He loves to stop by and greet our guests and will do almost anything for a belly rub. He is an outdoor dog and gets dirty digging in the field and swimming in the pond. Please only interact with him outside and don't invite him into the cabin.

The cabin was clean and had all the amenities needed for an escape from society. Its far enough from town to feel secluded but close enough that you can easily drive in to grab essentials. The hot tub was clean and a preheated for our stay. The hardest part about the entire stay was leaving. It felt nice to get away for a few days.

Very clean accomodations & well appointed home with comfy beds & a wonderful, peaceful setting. It was exactly what we needed! We especially enjoyed relaxing in the hot tub and also our quiet morning cup of coffee sitting on the porch & watching the birds. Bachelorette trip

We had a small little bachelorette weekend to celebrate our best friend’s wedding in September. It was just three of us and this cabin was so perfect!! The host, area, property, and views were so lovely. We loved the hot tub and the friendly host dog Chase!! We can’t wait to come back again!!

Cozy cabin

This cabin is very cozy and a great place to stay. Just a short drive to lake Shelbyville. We also loved hanging out with Chase. Will definitely be back again.

Nice and Relaxing

Great property - This location was close to our daughter/son-in-law and grandkids. The kids loved the pond and hot tub. Lots of room for our GSP, Callie, to run and play. Our grandson spent hours at the pond looking at all the frogs/crawdads and pollywogs. The house was great for us and worked well for our grandkids to visit. Highly recommend this property!

Cozy cabin

Property was nice, very clean, with quiet country surroundings. Enjoyed the clip clop of hooves from the buggies going down the road in late evening. Chase and his companion gave us much attention. Bed/pillow combinations were too hard for our liking but were bearable. Wife and granddaughter enjoyed their tour of the grounds and kennels.

Wonderful Cabin

We had a wonderful stay at this cozy country cabin. I traveled with my family, including our 16-month-old son and his great great aunt, and it was the perfect peaceful retreat. The cabin was warm, and beautifully maintained with a great view of the property. We especially loved relaxing in the hot tub while watching the sunset. It was a definite highlight.The location is quiet and feels like a true getaway. Just a heads-up to anyone not used to rural areas: keep an eye out for Amish buggies on the roads and be sure to use GPS if you are arriving at night, as the area can be a bit tricky to navigate in the dark.I would absolutely recommend this place to anyone looking to rest, relax, and recharge. It is a beautiful and well-kept property that feels like home the moment you arrive. We would definitely stay again.
